Originally, one of the "Battleguards" belonged to [[Tristan Taylor]], but he gave it to Joey before his Duel with [[Rex Raptor]] and he used them to defeat Rex's "[[Serpent Night Dragon]]" but were then destroyed by "[[Red-Eyes B. Dragon]]".
