Each Deckmaster, Deck Master has a [[Deck Master Abilities|unique special ability]], which can be used at any point in the duel Duel as many times as desired. It is to be noted that even Deckmasters Deck Masters which otherwise have no special abilities (such as normal monsters[[Normal Monsters]]) have a special Deckmaster Deck Master ability. As well, it appears that some Deckmasters Deck Masters retain their normal special abilties in addition abilities to be used as their Deckmaster Deck Master abilities, such as "[[Jinzo (anime)|Jinzo']]s" ability to negate all Trap cards and [[Nightmare Penguin]]'s ATK increase of all WATER-Attribute monsters. The Deck Master can also be specially Summoned to the field, without any prerequisite such as Tributes, Fusions (for [[Fusion Monsters]]) or rituals (for [[Ritual Monsters]]). Serenity, despite having never played in a Duel herself, and knowing little about the rules, is relieved that Tristan and Duke would help her along, but miscommunication between Tristan and Duke would ultimately cost Tristan his Deck Master. As [[File: Yugioh108.png|thumb|left|Leichter as "Jinzo" squares off with Seto.]]With Nezbitt having technically won Tristan's body, Nezbitt uses it to kidnap Mokuba, while Yugi proceeds and friends seek to find restore Tristan, who now resides in the body of a way to reunite with his friends, Crump manages to trap Téa Gardner into robot monkey (which is actually a duelbrown version of "[[Acrobat Monkey]]"). Being a competent amateur player Kaiba, in her own rightpursuit of Nezbitt, she chooses a deck encounters [[Leichter]], the last member of all-female monstersthe Big 5. Eager to put Leichter aside, Kaiba tries to use his "[[Crush Card Virus (anime)|Crush Card Virus]]" strategy against him, including Dark Magician Girl only to fail as her he realizes that Leichter's Deck Masterwas "[[Jinzo (anime)|Jinzo]]", to which Crump scoffs off as an unwise decisionrenders the opponent's [[Trap Card]]s useless. Combined with "[[Imperial Order (anime)|Imperial Order]]", thinking a card that rendered [[Dark Magician GirlSpell Card|Magic Cards]] would not be effective without her male counterpart (in the English versionuseless, this is replaced by remarks suggesting a perversion towards young girls). As an additional catch, whenever either duelist lost left Kaiba with only [[Life PointsMonster Card]]s. Furthermore, part of their body Leichter would be frozen. Despite being at a disadvantage for most of the match, use "[[Dark Magician GirlSatellite Cannon (anime)|Satellite Cannon]] would eventually help Téa ", a monster that could only be destroyed by summoning herself to Level 8 monsters or above, and whose power increased the field and using her own Deckmaster abilitylonger it is in play (but only while attacking), allowing Téa in an attempt to draw the Sage's Stone cardensure his victory. With the cardHowever, Téa would summon Yugi's Kaiba manages to Summon "[[Dark MagicianBlue-Eyes White Dragon]] (thus helping Yugi find Téa) ", a Level 8 monster, in time, and uses it to destroy "Satellite Cannon" and win the duelDuel.

With Yugi Throughout the Duel, the viewers learn of how Seto took over KaibaCorp: In the Japanese version, on Seto's birthday, he and Téa reunitedMokuba were given 2% shares in KaibaCorp. In the English dub, Seto was given ten million dollars; quite how Mokuba acquired 2% of KaibaCorp is never explained. In the focus shifts Japanese version, Seto had to Johnsonreturn one hundred times the investment within one year, who is slated to face Joey Wheeler. Believing he finally escaped while in the virtual worldEnglish dub, and eager he merely had to get return ten times the investment. Seto had shown his hands on Marik Ishtar for what cruel business tactics when he did to Mai Valentine (Mai Kujaku)accomplished his feat in just one day, Joey discovers and with that this was an elaborate trap set by Johnsontask completed, who proceeds to duel him. Johnson manages he managed to get the upper hand in the duel through a combination Big 5 into transferring their shares of his Deckmaster ability (which couldKaibaCorp to Seto, at so that both Seto and Gozaburo had 49% of the cost of life pointscompany each. However, clear Seto had blamed Mokuba for leaking the field of all cardsinformation out to Gozaburo (when in fact it was Seto himself) and the ability of controlling the outcome of Joey, making Seto's luck-based movesattempt fruitless. Yet, just as When it seems seemed that JoeyGozaburo had won, Mokuba then threw a bombshell of his own: he'd never turn his back on his brother, and combined with Seto's luck 49%, his 2% would be enough to oust Gozaburo from power. It is about not completely clear what happened to run out, Noah appears and insists that Johnson forfeit for cheating. Joey, Gozaburo after this; in both the spirit of a True Duelist, convinces Noah to let the match continue (knowing Johnson could not cheat again), Japanese and eventually wins by outwitting Johnson at one of the mind games English versions he claimed to be an expert at'disappears'.

Tristan Taylor, Duke DevlinNoah manages to capitalize on Seto blaming Mokuba, and Serenity Wheeler manage to find each otherconvinces Mokuba through brainwashing that Noah is his true big brother, yet they find themselves faced off against Nesbitt, who wants to take Serenity's body for his own. Kaibamanage to Summon their signature monster, in pursuit of Nesbitt, encounters Leichter "[[Mythic Dragon (''Daimon''anime)|Mythic Dragon]]", the last member of the Big 5by Tributing their five respective Deck Masters. Eager to put Leichter asideHowever, it is destroyed by "[[Mirage Knight (anime)|Mirage Knight]]", Kaiba tries a monster that was Summoned after Yugi and Joey were able to use his fuse "[[Crush Card VirusDark Magician (anime)|Dark Magician]] " and "[[Flame Swordsman (''Deck Destruction Virus of Death'' in the Japanese versionanime) strategy against him|Flame Swordsman]]" together (which were, respectively, only to fail as he realizes that LeichterYugi and Joey's Deck Master was Jinzo Masters) to create "[[Dark Flare Knight (''Android Psychic Shocker''anime)|Dark Flare Knight]]", who destroyed itself by attacking "Five God Dragon" and taking no battle damage due to its effect, which destroys allowing "Mirage Knight" to be Summoned. The Duel, however, did not end, thanks to the [[Trap Card]]s. Combined with "[[Imperial OrderA Deal with Dark Ruler (anime)|A Deal with Dark Ruler]]", allowing the Big 5 to Summon a card that rendered magic cards uselessnew Deck Master, this left Kaiba with only "[[Berserk Dragon (anime)|Berserk Dragon]]" - a monster cardsthat gradually weakened the longer it stayed on the field. FurthermoreAfter surviving a round of attacks, Leichter would use Satellite CannonJoey, a monster that could only be destroyed by eight-star monsters or abovewho the Big 5 thought was the weaker link of the two, and whose power increased was allowed to survive on 300 Life Points, would set up "[[Dark Magician]]" by transforming him into "[[Dark Magician Knight]]" by using the longer it is in play (but only while attacking)Magic Card, "[[Knight's Title]]", in an attempt allowing him to ensure use his victory. HoweverDeck Master's special ability (which, Kaiba manages to summon Blue Eyes White Dragonhe explains, an eightwould only work on [[Warrior]]-star monster, in time, [[Type]] monsters) and uses it was able to destroy transfer most of the [[ATK]] of "[[Satellite CannonFlame Swordsman]] " directly to "Dark Magician Knight", which was enough to destroy "Berserk Dragon" and win the duelDuel.

Meanwhile, Seto blaming Mokuba, and convinces Mokuba attempts to get through brainwashing that Noah is to his true big brainwashed brother, and that to no avail. With one last hope, Seto was a nobodySummons his "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", which manages to break Mokuba free of Noah's control. This is part of Yet, thanks to his plan Deck Master, Noah's Life Points continue to slowly rise. Desperate, Seto uses "[[Last Turn (anime)|Last Turn]]" to force the Duel into one final winner-take everything -all [[Battle Phase]]. Seto has chooses "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" to attack while Noah chooses his Deck Master to defend. Although "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" wins the battle, the destruction of "Shinato's Ark" allowed Noah to summon "[[Shinato, King of a Higher Plane (anime)|Shinato, King of value from hima Higher Plane]]", a more powerful monster that destroys "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", and allowing Noah to win the Big 5 was simply Duel. He challenges Noah to continue the Duel, in turn, were with Yugitaking Seto's place. With Life Points being 7400-400 in favour of Noah, and Joeyno monsters on Seto Kaiba's Deckmastersside of the field (and no cards in his hand). HoweverBecause of his Spirit Monsters, Mokuba suddenly appears to support Noah"Spring of Rebirth", and another Deck Master ability, effectively stopping Seto from attacking Noah's monsters for fear Life Points continue to accumulate to the point that Noah simply allows Yugi to directly attack him every turn - an effort that Mokuba turned largely fruitless as Noah would be hurtmanage to gain even more Life Points.

Desperate, Seto He then uses the Last Turn trap in order to force the duel into one his final battle phasecard, winner"[[De-take-all. Seto chooses Blue Eyes Fusion]]", to attack while Noah uses his Deckmaster. Although split "Blue -Eyes wins, the destruction of the Miracle Ark allowed Noah to summon Shinato, a more powerful monster that destroys Ultimate Dragon" back into three "Blue -EyesWhite Dragons", thus giving Noah the victory. As a token of his victory and his apparent worthiness of attacks directly with all three, winning the title of head of KaibaCorp, Noah turns Seto and Mokuba to stoneDuel.

With the life points being 7400-400 in favor of Noah willing to help Yugi and no monsters on Seto's side of the field (company despite his duplicity, they follow him to a large door that was said to be a secret backdoor that Gozaburo had not discovered and no cards in hand)closed. However, Noah quickly accepts, intending to quickly win and turn 's true colors are revealed as they trap Yugi and friends to stone. Should Yugi winwithin their own recent memories, however, he demands that everyone be set although all would eventually free themselves from the virtual worldtrap.

Having to duel against Meanwhile, Noah and Mokuba discover a different kind virtual replica of duelist Domino, in Yugi, which Noah uses his spirit monsters, a type of monster that is returned tricks Mokuba in order to escape the hand at the end of a turn (and cannot be Special Summoned), and the Spring of Rebirth magic card to attack Yugi and increase his own lifepoints virtual world in the processMokuba's body. Although Yugi manages to use Cyber Jar to destroy all of Noah's monsters, including Shinato (which was forced onto the field as Mokuba) then aims a result of choosing it missile-armed satellite in Last Turn), Noah uses another Deckmaster ability to pull Shinato back order to destroy the sidelines undersea fortress (but now Noah forfeits and thus the ability to put Shinato back onto the fieldvirtual world), and the duel continuesproceeds to leave on a helicopter alone. Because of his spirit monstersHowever, once there, Spring he experiences a change of Rebirth, and another Deckmaster effect, Noahheart due to Mokuba's lifepoints continue willingness to accumulate forgive Noah (and even helps convince Seto to find a way to create a new, if somewhat artificial, body for Noah), and proceeds back into the point that Noah simply allowed Yugi fortress, only to directly attack him every turn - an effort that turned largely fruitless as find the satellite controls having been destroyed by [[Yami Marik]]. With only 60 minutes until the fortress is destroyed, Noah would manage begins working on a way to gain even more life pointssave everyone.

It seemed all but lost for Yugi, when he is reminded that even though all discard the five pieces of his friends "Exodia the Forbidden One" (using "[[Painful Choice (Seto and Mokuba includedanime)|Painful Choice]]") are turned in order to stoneSummon "[[Exodia Necross (anime)|Exodia Necross]]", they are still there in spirit to cheer him on. With a newfound confidencemonster which, Yugi draws as long as the Card five pieces of Sanctity"Exodia the Forbidden One" were in the [[Graveyard]], allowing Yugi it is immune to draw six cards. With these six cardsvirtually every card (The [[Left Leg of the Forbidden One (anime)|Left Leg]], [[Right Leg of the Forbidden One (anime)|Right Leg]], he revives Kaiba's Blue Eyes White Dragon and fuses them with [[Left Arm of the two Blue Eyes he has drawn Forbidden One (anime)|Left Arm]] granted [[Exodia Necross|Necross]] immunities to form Blue Eyes Ultimate DragonMagic Cards, Trap Cards, and uses his fifth card, Quick Attack, to allow Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon to attack NoahMonster Effects respectively) and grew more powerful with every battle it was involved in ([[Exodia the Forbidden One (anime)|Exodia's Head]] prevented it from being destroyed from a monster immediately. He then uses his final card, De-Fusion, to split Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon back to three Blue Eyes White Dragons, and attacks directly, winning attack while the [[Right Arm of the duelForbidden One (anime)|Right Arm]] ensured that its ATK increased by 1000 points whenever it engaged in battle).

==Escape From the Virtual World==With the duel wonAlthough Exodia Necross seemed unstoppable, Yugi demands Seto realized that Noah free everyone from , like himself with "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" so long ago - ironically before his defeat at the virtual world. Howeverhands of Exodia, Noah reveals to everyone that, in Gozaburo is using the process power of entering the virtual worldonly one monster, they were all knocked out and placed in virtual reality pods (not unlike those used by Seto in the Legendary Heroes arc). Everyone would later be shocked to find believing that it was Gozaburo, or a digitized copy thereof, who had attempted to trap everyone in a complicated plan to take over alone would win the world by trapping everyone in battle for him. By using the virtual world "[[Soul Demolition (In the original versionanime)|Soul Demolition]]" Trap Card, Gozaburo was going to use missiles positioned in space Seto manages to manipulate remove the world to his will, like so many James Bond villains before him). Desperate to tell the world five parts of Exodia from play from Gozaburo's impending atrocityGraveyard, they are determined more than ever to escape the virtual world. With Noah willing to help Yugi and company despite his untrustworthiness, they follow him to a large door weakening it so that was said to be a secret backdoor that Gozaburo had not discovered "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" could destroy it and closed. With only 60 minutes until the fortress is destroyed, Noah begins working on a way to save everyonemissile.
