'''Limitation Texttext''' is an unofficial term for the text sometimes displayed in the bottom-left corner of a card instead of a [[passcodepassword]], and details special limitations for when that card may be used.
There are currently four types of limitation text used in the ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game|TCG]]'' and two types in the ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game|OCG]]''.

This limitation text states that the card is [[illegalIllegal]] in any official Duel. This is the most common type of limitation text. However, some cards with this text are specifically allowed at [[Yu-Gi-Oh! Day]] events in Japan.
The following cards use this text:
* The original (non-Effect) [[Egyptian God]] cards
* All [[Match winner]]s, except "[[Victory Dragon]]" (which was the first Match winner, and is [[Forbidden]])
* The [[Second National Tournament prize cards]]
* "[[Set Sail for The Kingdom]]", "[[Duelist Kingdom (card)|Duelist Kingdom]]", and "[[Glory of the King's Hand]]"

This limitation text states that the card is considered unofficial, and thus like all unofficial cards (fan-made, counterfeit, etc.), it is [[illegal]]. This was only used on the [[Upper Deck Entertainment]] promotional "[[The Seal of Orichalcos (UDE promo)|The Seal of Orichalcos]]", which was specifically made for and used at the [[Duel the Master]] 2005 Event, hosted by the then-distributors of the ''TCG''.
