* Yugi also used it on [[Dark Magician Girl]] during his battle with [[Grerimo]]. The Dark Magician Girl was strengthened by [[Magical Academy]] (which gave her the level necessary to use Diffusion) and she wiped out Grerimo's monsters and won the duel.
* It was later used in Yugi's duel with [[Leon Von Schrodervon Schroeder]]. He activated [[Emergency Provisions]] on [[Chain Destruction]] to gain 1000 [[Life Points]], activated [[Necromancy]] to [[Special Summon]] four monsters from Leon's graveyard to the field, and paid the 1000 [[Life Points]] he received to activated [[Diffusion Wave-Motion]] on [[Dark Magician]]. The monsters summoned by [[Necromancy]] were wiped out first and then Necromancy's effect reduced Leon's [[Hexe Trude]]'s ATK to 600, allowing Dark Magician to destroy it and win Yugi the duel.
