* This monster, as well as "[[Number 13: Cain's Devil]]", are based on the Biblical story of [[wikipedia:Cain and Abel|Cain and Abel]], the first and second sons of [[wikipedia:Adam_and_Eve|Adam and Eve]]. According to Genesis 4:1-8, Cain committed the first murder by killing Abel.
** The opposite position of the [[Numbers]] further allude to this.
**As does the fact that this card's Number is a flip of it's "brother."
** The reference this card makes to Abel takes on additional meaning in the context of this card's debut in the manga. This monster appeared out of [[Ryoga Kamishiro (manga)|Shark's]] Extra Deck after [[Kaito Tenjo (manga)|Kaito Tenjo]] reduced his Life Points to below half- in short, Shark played the role of Abel when he was "killed" by Kaito (Cain) during the duel.
*This card and Number 13 could be the manga's counterparts of [[Number 19: Frostodon]] and [[Number 61: Volcasaurus]].
