In episode 30, Nightshroud uses this card during his duel against Jaden Yuki. After Nightshroud summons this card, he send this card to the Graveyard in order to Special Summon "Red-Eyes B. Dragon". This card was later seen being absorbed into the "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" along with every other Dragon-type monster in Nightshroud's Graveyard.

In episode 89, Atticus Rhodes uses this card during his duel against Zane Truesdale. After Atticus summons this card, he send this card to the Graveyard in order to Special Summon "Red-Eyes B. Dragon". After Zane Normal Summons "Cyberdark Horn", he activates the latter's effect to take this card from Atticus' Graveyard and equip to "Cyberdark Horn", increasing its ATK by the ATK of this card. Later "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" attacks "Cyberdark Horn", but Zane destroys this card to prevent "Cyberdark Horn" from being destroyed, however he still takes Battle Damage. After Zane summons "Cyberdark Edge", he activates the latter's effect to take this card from Atticus' Graveyard and equip it to "Cyberdark Edge", increasing its ATK by this card's ATK via its own effect. Later "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" attacks "Cyberdark Edge", but Zane destroys this card to prevent "Cyberdark Edge's" destruction. He then activates "Power Wall" to send the top thirty cards of his Deck to the Graveyard and completely nullify the Battle Damage he would have taken.

In episode 159, Atticus uses this card during his Duel against Jaden. After Atticus summons this card, he sends this card to the Graveyard in order to Special Summon "Red-Eyes B. Dragon". On the last turn of the Duel, Jaden activates "Hero's Rule 1: Five Freedoms" to banish this card, "Red-Eyes B. Dragon", "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon", "Cave Dragon", and "Inferno Fire Blast" from Atticus' Graveyard.

In episode 174, Atticus uses this card during his duel against Yusuke Fujiwara. After Atticus summons this card, he Tributes this card in order to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Black Dragon". In reality, everything after the summoning of "Clear Vice Dragon" was all in Atticus' mind as Yusuke wanted to find Atticus' darkness.
