  • The words "DAIMAJIN" (meaning "great demon" in Japanese) are engraved on this monster's upper armor.
  • This monster seems to take inspiration from the mecha science fiction sub-genre in manga and anime, especially the giant robots designed by Go Nagai.
    • This monster's appearance largely resembles those of Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger both in color and shape. However, only the small straight horns on the sides of the fissured bevor are the same as the former's; the blades on the top of the head, the red chest piece, and the blades on the arms are more similar to the latter's pointed crown, fused heat sink, and pointed fins respectively.
    • This monster's name is also similar with the Japanese name of Great Mazinger (グレートマジンガー Gurēto Majingā) since both machines have "majin" in their names and "Dai" (in this monster's Japanese name) can be translated as "great". On the other hand, the title "Kōtetsu no" given to this monster is almost the same as the title Steel Jeeg (鋼鉄ジーグ Kōtetsu Jīgu) has in its Japanese name.
    • Finally, this monster's Type can be compared to the nature of the aforementioned mechs belonging to the super robots subgenre which, contrarily to the real robots subgenre, features machines often powered by mystical energy sources and described as "quasi-magical", which is reflected in this monster's effect supporting both Machine and Illusion monsters.
