Archetype-exclusion condition
An archetype-exclusion condition is a condition that specifies a card as not being part of an archetype when its printed name says it would be. This condition effectively has the opposite effect of an archetype condition.
These conditions are only found in the TCG, used in lieu of renaming a card, either due to the card being too well-known to rename, or the name being difficult to translate otherwise.
The first card to receive this type of condition on the official card database was the Italian entry of "Kozmoll Dark Lady". The first card to be printed with this condition was the French and German reprints of "Diffusion Wave-Motion" in Duelist Pack: Yugi included in Yugi & Kaiba Collector Box. The first English card to be printed with this condition was "Valkyrie of the Nordic Ascendant" in Legendary Hero Decks.
