Arkana is a playable Legendary Duelist in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links who appears in Duel World (DM). This is a video game depiction of Arkana, a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.

Arkana (Duel Links)

Red Gate Keys are required to Duel Arkana at the Gate.

He appears in-game after the player reaches Stage 13 of Duel World (DM), at which point his Character Unlock Missions become available. Prior to May 11, 2018, he could only be unlocked by clearing the first round of the special event Duelist Chronicles: Battle City Begins!. Prior to being made available as a playable character, he had also appeared as an opponent in special events as a roaming opponent. Arkana also appears as an opponent during the special events Attack of the Rare Hunters! Yami Marik Returns! and Unleash the Egyptian God Card! Yami Marik Returns. Additionally, Arkana appears as an opponent during the special event Duelist Chronicles: Battle City Begins!.

Prior to being made available as a playable character in-game, he was able to be played at the Duel Links arcade machines at JUMP Victory Carnival 2017, which was held on July 22, 2017 in Tokyo and July 29, 2017 in Osaka.

DescriptionEdit

One of Marik's nefarious Rare Hunters. Arkana believes he is the one true Master of Magicians. He has no qualms about harming his own cards - as long as it guarantees him a victory. During Battle City, Arkana faced Yami Yugi in a clash of Dark Magicians - where one mistake could lead to an eternity in the Shadow Realm.

BiographyEdit

Arkana's history is inferred to be largely the same as his manga counterpart. It's revealed that Pandora initially believes to have beaten Yugi after waking up alone with no recollection of the conclusion of his duel. Despite the sadness implemented in him from Marik's brainwashing, he resolves to use his persona to mask his true feelings and pursues his own ambitions.

Yami Marik
