Astral (Duel Generation)

Astral is a Duelist Construct of Astral from the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL series in the Virtual Dueling System. He is also the boss that the player have to faced in a 2 out of 3 Match in the ZEXAL Campaign mode Stage 14-5 in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation. The player has to defeat him in a Duel in order to unlock the next stage and progress Campaign mode.

Appearance

As a Duelist Construct, his appearance is based on Astral, and Astral's appearance is shown to be ghost-like or spirit-like due to the blue aura surrounding his body in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime series. Also, Astral isn't wears any sorts of clothes on his body. In the ZEXAL anime series, each person needs a Duel Gazer in order to see and watch the augmented reality setting of a Duel. In the case of Astral, he does not needs one as his golden left eye becomes more luminous whenever a Duel occurs, and this indicate that he can see the Duel without the device.

Etymology

The name "Astral" comes from astrum, meaning "star" in Latin. The name "Astral" could also comes from the concept of Astral like ghost or spirit due to the theory behind astral body or astral projection.

Rewards

There are a total of six rewards that the player can earn and received after defeating the Duel Construct in a Duel. The first two rewards are cards that come from the Duel Construct's Deck and the third reward is a recipe for their Deck. Then the fourth, fifth and sixth rewards repeated the same process of the three earlier rewards, but in a harder difficulty with a different Deck. In addition, the sixth reward will allow the player to have the Duel Construct's avatar and the ability to Duel them anytime between the two difficulty.

As Astral is a boss character, the player had to faced him in 2 out of 3 Match which can takes hour to defeat and receive the rewards.
