Deck

In the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series, during the Duelist Kingdom arc, Bandit Keith uses a Deck that consists of all sorts of Machines as well as handful of Fiend-Type monsters. Then in the Battle City arc, Keith includes the legendary "Zera the Mant" into his Deck.

In Duel Generation, the Duelist Construct plays a Deck called Zera Machine which combines some element from both of Keith's Decks. The first element is the strategy of using both Machine and Fiend monsters, and the second element is to uses the Ritual Monster "Zera the Mant" as the signature card. This Deck introduces the concept of Ritual Summoning. This Deck have a stall tactic as several monsters have the effect to either Special Summon another monster when destroyed by battle ("Bicular" and "Tricular") or attach to them as Equip Card and destroy them during the next Standby Phase ("Adhesive Explosive" and "Blast Sphere"). This Deck also features Graveyard reviving cards like "Puzzle Reborn" and "Time Machine" that can prevent the player from attacking as the monster could have higher ATK or DEF than their own monster's ATK.

After the player defeat Keith's Zera Machine Deck three times, the next difficulty and Deck is unlocked. This Deck features a burn style which Keith didn't used in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series.

The Machine Burn Deck focuses on depleting the player's LP by inflicting burn damage by various card effects. This Deck does features the use of Machine monsters but with all of them have the effect to inflict damage by card effects. This Deck also features stalling cards that allow the monster to be safe from attacked while more burn damages can be inflicted each turn.
