The player faces Crump in a Shadow Game as the second opponent that must be defeated in order to reach Noah.

Crump disappears after his defeat and he makes no further appearances in the storyline, but the player can duel against him and the other members of The Big Five in succession as the second Duel Course in the Duel Base, which becomes available after beating the game and reaching Level 20.
