  • In episode 108, Abyss uses this card during his Duel against Shark while the former was possessing Rio Kastle. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Gorgonic Golem" and "Gorgonic Gargoyle". Abyss then activates this card's second effect to negate the effects of "Black Ray Lancer" and reduce its ATK to 0 by detaching an Overlay Unit. This card's first effect then activates, destroying "Black Ray Lancer". This card then attacks directly. On Abyss's next turn, he activates this card's second effect to negate the effects of "Skull Kraken" and reduce its ATK to 0 by detaching an Overlay Unit. This card's first effect then activates, destroying "Skull Kraken". Abyss then equips this card with "Xyz Unit", which increases this card's ATK by its Rank times 200. This card then attacks directly. In the next episode, Shark activates "Freezing Point" to reduce this card's ATK to 0. This card's first effect then activates, destroying itself. Later Abyss banishes this card from his Graveyard in order to activate "Gorgonic Ritual".
  • In episode 120, Vector uses this card during his Duel against Shark (which occurred in their past lives and when Shark was Nash). He Xyz Summons one copy by overlaying "Gorgonic Cerberus" and "Gorgonic Ghoul" (who was Level 3 via the effect of "Gorgonic Cerberus"). Vector then Xyz Summons another copy by overlaying two copies of "Gorgonic Ghoul" (who were both Level 3 via the effect of "Gorgonic Cerberus"). Both copies then attack directly. Later Vector activates this card's second effect to negate the effects of "Number 73: Abyss Splash" (whose ATK was 4800 via its own effect) and reduce its ATK to 0 by detaching an Overlay Unit, but Shark activates "Overlay Wedge" to negate this card's effect and prevent monsters from activating effects by detaching Overlay Units this turn except the monster on the field with the highest Rank. "Abyss Splash" then attacks and destroys a copy, winning Shark the Duel.
  • In episode 124, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Yuma Tsukumo has when he sees Shark's memories as Nash in his past life (this occurs when Nash's Barian Pendant and Yuma's Emperor's Key clash).
  • In episode 136, this card appears in a flashback Vector has when he explains that after Nash beat him in the Ruin's labyrinth, he returned home barely alive.
