- This card can be searched by "Pharaonic Advent", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.
- After Summoning monsters like "Megarock Dragon", "Gigastone Omega", or "Gaia Plate the Earth Giant", use this card to get one of your banished monsters back.
- As many Rock-Type monsters are also EARTH Attribute, this can also sometimes work with "Gigantes" or "Block Dragon".
- Use "Rock Bombardment" to damage your opponent, then Summon one of the above monsters using the Rock-Type monster you just sent to the Graveyard, then use this card to bring the banished monster back. This can allow you to quickly search out any strong Rock-Type monster from your Deck and bring it to the field.
- Note that even with this card's downside, the Rock-Type monster you brought back will no longer be banished, and will be in your Graveyard to potentially use again with one of the above monsters.
- Use in tandem with "Gold Sarcophagus" to quickly search out and Summon any Rock-Type monster in your Deck.
- Bring back "Guardian Sphinx" with this card and use its effect to flip itself face-down, avoiding this card's drawback.
