This card's effect could activate if "Amazoness Chain Master" was sent to the Graveyard while previously in Attack Position, and could add a monster from the opponent's deck to the player's hand.

In episode 91, Mai Valentine uses this card during her Duel against Yami Marik. She summons this card in Attack Position. After Yami Marik summons "Holding Arms", he uses it to attack this card. Due to the effect of "Holding Arms", it is not destroyed and Yami Marik takes no Battle Damage. The second effect of "Holding Arms" then activates, forbidding this card from attacking for three turns. Mai then activates "Grave Arm" to destroy this card. This card's effect then activates, allowing Mai to take Marik's "The Winged Dragon of Ra" from his Deck and add it to her hand.

In episode 108, this card appears in a flashback explained by Leichter when he reminds Seto Kaiba that his birthday gift from Gozaburo Kaiba was where all the mistakes made by Seto himself began.

In episode 109, this card appears in a flashback Leichter has when he explains to Seto that his treachery began when Gozaburo gave him a large amount of dollars to test Seto's business skills.

In the non-canon duel YCS Providence 2012 Special: Mai, Joey and Yugi vs. Pegasus and Bakura, Mai uses this card against Pegasus. Mai Normal Summons this card in Attack Mode. The next turn, "Amazoness Chain Master" is equiped onto Pegasus' "Relinquished" via "Relinquished's" own effect. The same turn, "Amazoness Chain Master" is destroyed by "Relinquished's" own effect to prevent "Relinquished" from being destroyed by battle by Mai's "Harpie Lady".

Zane Truesdale gave this card to the bully dueling Syrus in Episode 7 to insure that the bully would not tell anyone about the duel and that he would stop bullying Syrus. This is only in the dub. In the original the card given was "Breaker the Magical Warrior".
