* In episode 80, this card was part of a Duel Puzzle that Crow Hogan, Jack Atlas, Yusei Fudo and Bruno had to solve in order to find out who stole Yusei's program. In Bruno's attempt, he activates "Cost Down" to lower the Level of "Alector, Sovereign of Birds" by 2, making it a Level 4 monster. Bruno then activates the effect of "Tragoedia" to send "Alector" from his hand to the Graveyard and take control of a monster whose Level is the same as the sent monster's. Bruno chooses to take control of this card as its effect will prevent the Password Robot's set "Mirror Force" from activating. Bruno then activates "Tribute to the Doomed" to destroy "Green Gadget". This makes the ATK of "Stronghold the Moving Fortress" 0 as "Green Gadget", "Red Gadget", and "Yellow Gadget" were not all on the Password Robot's field. Bruno then equips this card with "Axe of Despair", increasing its ATK by 1000. This card then attacks "Stronghold the Moving Fortress". Due to this card's effect, the Password Robot could not activate "Mirror Force" in response to this card's attack as this card's effect forbids the opponent from activating Spells and Traps until the end of the Damage Step. This card then destroys "Stronghold", allowing Bruno to gain access to Sector Security's database.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

 • Vellian Crowler first used this card during his duel with Camula. This card then gained 300 more ATK from "Ancient Gear Castle"'s effect. This card then destroyed "Zombie Werewolf". This activates the latter's effect, allowing Crowler to summon another "Zombie Werewolf" with 500 more ATK. This card is then destroyed by that "Zombie Werewolf", allowing "Vampire Bat" to attack Crowler directly. Crowler then used "Damage Condenser" to summon a second copy which then gained 300 more ATK via "Ancient Gear Castle"'s effect. Crowler then Tributes this card to summon "Ancient Gear Beast".
 • Crowler used this card in his duel against Jean-Louis Bonaparte. This card then gained 300 more ATK from "Ancient Gear Castle"'s effect. Crowler then equipped this card with "Ancient Gear Tank", increasing its ATK by 600. This card then destroyed one of Bonaparte's "Toy Soldiers". This card was later destroyed by "Toy Emperor". Doing this activated the effect of "Ancient Gear Tank", inflicting 600 damage to Bonaparte.
 • Crowler later used this card in his three-way match against Bonaparte and Maximillion Pegasus. He summons this card on his first turn of the duel. On his next turn, he summons another copy. One copy is later targeted for the effect of "Ancient Gear Explosive" which Crowler then uses to inflict damage to Pegasus equal to half of the targeted copy's ATK. Crowler then has the two copies attack two of Bonaparte's "Toy Soldiers" as payback for attacking him directly with a "Toy Soldier". Pegasus later targets one of the two copies with "Shadow Toon" which Pegasus then uses to inflict damage to Bonaparte equal to the targeted copy's ATK. Crowler later Tributes both copies to summon "Ancient Gear Golem".
 • He is also briefly seen using this card after becoming a Duel Ghoul. It blocked off Jaden from getting to Marcel, but Hassleberry summons "Dark Driceratops" and has it destroy this card.
 • Crowler used this card in his second duel against Jaden Yuki. He summons it on the first turn of the duel. This card is then destroyed by "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman". The latter then inflicts damage to Crowler equal to the ATK of this card. Crowler later uses "Crazy Summon Gear" to revive this card and summon two more copies from his Deck. Crowler then sends all three copies to the Graveyard to activate "Spell Gear".

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's
