- In episode 53, Aster Phoenix uses this card during his duel against Jaden Yuki. He summons this card by Tributing "Warrior of Zera" while "The Sanctuary in the Sky" was on the field. Aster then discards "Mystical Shine Ball" in order to activate this card's effect, destroying Jaden's "Elemental HERO Sparkman". This card then attacks directly. On Aster's next turn, he activates "Beckoning Light" to add "Mystical Shine Ball" from his Graveyard to his hand by discarding "Monster Gate". Aster then discards "Mystical Shine Ball" in order to activate this card's effect, destroying Jaden's "Elemental HERO Clay Guardian". This card then attacks directly, but Jaden activates "The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh" to Special Summon "Winged Kuriboh". A replay then occurs and Aster uses this card to attack and destroy "Winged Kuriboh". On the last turn of the Duel, "Elemental HERO Tempest" attacks this card. Jaden then sends his set "Hero Ring" to the Graveyard in order to prevent "Tempest" from being destroyed, so only this card was destroyed.
- This card's attack is called Holy Surge in the original and Sacred Surge in the dub.
- In the anime, when this card attacks, its wings will glow yellow and shoot down a rain of feathers at its target.
