  • In episode 108, Axel Brodie uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. After he activates this card, Axel sends "Volcanic Shell" from his hand to the Graveyard to destroy Jaden's "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman", but Jaden activates "De-Fusion" to return "Flame Wingman" to the Extra Deck and Special Summon "Elemental HERO Avian" and "Elemental HERO Burstinatrix" from his Graveyard. This negates this card's effect since its original target was removed from the field. Axel then activates the effect of "Volcanic Shell" from his Graveyard to add another "Volcanic Shell" from his Deck to his hand. Axel then activates this card's effect to send "Volcanic Shell" from his hand to the Graveyard and destroy "Burstinatrix". In the next episode, Axel sends this card to the Graveyard in order to activate "Tri-Blaze Accelerator".
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in Axel's thoughts when he notes that Jaden's other thought would be destroying "Firewall" since it prevents direct attacks.
  • In episode 122, Axel uses this card to shoot "Volcanic Shell" at a "Sand Moth" and destroy it. Two more "Sand Moths" appear, so Axel tells his friends to go on while he distracts the "Sand Moths". Axel then uses this card's effect to destroy the two remaining "Sand Moths".
