- Rafael first used this card in his first duel with Yami Yugi. He equips this card to "Backup Gardna". This allows him to summon "Guardian Eatos" since there are no monsters in his Graveyard. Rafael then used "Backup Gardna"'s effect to equip this card to "Eatos" instead. This card was then sent to the Graveyard to activate "Eatos"'s effect.
- When "Celestial Sword - Eatos" was first played it was called "Celestial Sword".
- In episode 160, Guardian Eatos equip with Celestial Sword - Eatos appeared in a flashback when it attack Yami Yugi directly.
- episode 179, Rafael use the power of The Seal of Orichalcos and use Guardian Eatos equip with Celestial Sword - Eatos to destroy The Seal of Orichalcos. But in the end, it didn't work and Rafael's soul was trap in The Seal of Orichalcos.
