When "Number C39: Utopia Ray" attacked "Number 96 Dark Mist", Number 96 activated this card to negate the attack and send "Magical Stone Excavation" from his hand to the Graveyard, activating "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" from the Graveyard and performing a Chaos Xyz Evolution to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 96: Dark Storm". Due to this card's final effect, "Utopia Ray" was forced to attack "Dark Storm", resulting in "Dark Storm's" destruction and the Duel ending in a Draw.
