In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 140140: "The Final Face Off - Part 3", this card can be seen in Yami Marik's hand during his Duel against Yami Yugi. In the next episode, Yami Yugi activates "Soul Taker" to increase Marik's Life Points by 1000 and Tribute Marik's "Egyptian God Slime" for the effect of "Obelisk the Tormentor" in order to make its ATK ∞. Yami Marik then activates two effects of "The Winged Dragon of Ra" in order to pay all but of one of his Life Points and Tribute "Swallowtail Spike Lizard" and "Bowganian" in order the ATK and DEF of "The Winged Dragon of Ra" by the paid amount and Tributed monsters' ATK and DEF. While "The Winged Dragon of Ra" isn't destroyed, the effect of "Obelisk the Tormentor" proceeds in inflicting 4000 damage to Yami Marik, but Yami Marik activates this card to negate the effect of "Obelisk" as its Level was not higher than the Level of "Ra" (both were Level 10).
