Yu-Gi-Oh!
- In episode 23, Seto Kaiba plays this card against Yami Yugi. He Activates this card when "Gaia the Fierce Knight" attacks and destroys "Saggi the Dark Clown". This card's activation destroys "Gaia the Fierce Knight" and the "Dark Magician" in Yugi's hand as well as render every monster in Yugi's Deck that has at least 1500 ATK useless.
- In the dub, it is incorrectly shown as a Magic Card in Kaiba's hand.
- In episode 26, Kaiba used this card in his Duel against Maximillion Pegasus. Kaiba sets this card and planned to use this card when Pegasus attacks and destroys "Saggi the Dark Clown". However Pegasus activates "Negative Energy", doubling the ATK of "Saggi" and making it an invalid target for this card. In the next episode, Pegasus uses "Doppelganger" to copy this card's effect. He activates it when Kaiba's "Swordstalker" attacks "Dragon Piper". Once "Swordstalker" destroyed "Dragon Piper", this activated this card's effect which destroys "Swordstalker" and obliterates almost all the cards in Kaiba's Deck, leaving him with only one card left to use which was "Monster Reborn".
- In episode 53, this card appears on a poster that Yugi and Téa read when they find a game store that was selling Duel Monster cards.
- In episode 55, this card is shown as one of the many cards on the shop window that Yugi, Joey, and Tristan gaze in awe at.
- In episode 93, Kaiba plays this card against Ishizu Ishtar. He uses "Shrink" to halve the ATK of "Vorse Raider" and make it a valid target for this card's effect. After "Mudora" destroys "Vorse Raider", Kaiba activates this card, destroying "Mudora" as well as every monster in Ishizu's hand and Deck that has 1500 or more ATK. This backfires on Kaiba in the next episode, as Ishizu activates "Exchange of the Spirit", which leaves him with a Deck of only six cards while Ishizu regains every card this card and "Virus Cannon" destroyed. Kaiba draws this card again later in the Duel, but he doesn't use it during the remainder of the duel.
- In episode 108, Kaiba plays this card against Leichter. When Kaiba's "Giant Germ" is destroyed due to Leichter redirecting the attack of "Spear Dragon" on Leichter's Set monster to "Giant Germ" with "Mask of Perplexity", Kaiba tried to activate this card in response. The ability of Leichter's Deck Master, "Jinzo" however negates this card's effect and destroys it.
- This card also appears in a flashback explained by Leichter when he reminds Seto that his birthday gift from Gozaburo Kaiba was where all the mistakes made by Seto himself began.
- In episode 109, this card appears in a flashback Leichter has when he explains to Seto that his treachery began when Gozaburo gave him a large amount of dollars to test Seto's business skills.
- In episode 114, Seto plays this card against Noah Kaiba. He Sets it, but it is destroyed by the effect of Noah's "Chiron the Mage" before he could activate it.
- In episode 116, this card appears in a flashback Kaiba has when he notes that he remembers that he promised to be a father to Mokuba and protect him no matter what. He didn't treat Mokuba well initially when he threw him out, but he did that so that no matter what happened to him, Mokuba would still have a family.
- In episode 129, this card appears in a flashback that Yugi has when he wonders to himself if Kaiba will use the same strategy he used against Ishizu for the current Duel between himself and Yugi.
- In episode 135, Kaiba plays this card against Joey Wheeler. He halves the ATK of "Ryu-Kishin Powered" with "Shrink" when Joey's "Gearfried the Iron Knight" attacks it. After "Ryu-Kishin Powered" is destroyed by "Gearfried the Iron Knight", Kaiba activates this card, destroying "Gearfried the Iron Knight" as well as every monster in Joey's hand and Deck that has 1500 or more ATK.
- In episode 150, Kaiba Sets this card against Alister, but is unable to use it as the latter activates "Royal Decree". He later plays "The Fang of Critias" and fuses it with this card to Special Summon "Doom Virus Dragon".
- In episode 152, this card appears in a flashback Kaiba has when he remembers using this card in his Duel against Alister.
- In episode 159, this card can be seen when Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor are taken to the card vault within Doma's headquarters.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
- In episode 34, during Jaden Yuki's Duel with Kaibaman, this card can be seen when Kaibaman searches his Deck via the effect of "Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands". It is replaced by "Ring of Destruction" in the dub.
- In episode 164, Makoto Inotsume plays this card against Syrus Truesdale. He Tributes "Jinzo - Returner" to activate it. This card then destroyed Syrus's "Cyberdark Dragon" and forced him to play with his hand revealed. It also forced Syrus to reveal every card he draws. Syrus would later be forced to discard "Dragonroid" because of this card, but this in turn helped him later to win the Duel. In this episode, this card used its TCG/OCG effect .
