- In the Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime, if Ectoplasmer targets a monster and both players have a monster the same as the targeted one both monsters are Tributed, as shown when Yami Yugi dueled Arkana in Battle City.
- Yami Bakura used this card to defeat Bonz in Battle City. He placed it on the Field Spell Card zone.
