Yu-Gi-Oh!

  • In the anime and manga, this card is Joey Wheeler's favorite card besides "Red-Eyes Black Dragon".
  • This card is not a Fusion Monster in the Anime or Manga but a Normal Monster while the first part of the Anime's English version still has the Violet Card Background of a Fusion Monster.

Manga/Anime

Duelist Kingdom

  • When Joey Wheeler duels against Seto Kaiba, this card is sent to destroy Kaiba's "Battle Ox". However this card is destroyed due to "Battle Ox" reducing all FIRE monsters' ATK by 300.
  • When Joey Wheeler duels against Bonz, Joey summons this card on the duel's sixth turn to destroy Bonz's "Crass Clown". Later, this card is destroyed when Joey loses his gamble effect from "Time Wizard" which causes both "Time Wizard" and this card to be destroyed and inflicting damage to Joey equal to half of the destroyed cards' total ATK.
  • When Yami Yugi and Joey Wheeler tag-team duel against the Paradox Brothers, Joey uses this card. After summoning him, he chose to move him 4 spaces into the maze. After this card got together with Yugi's "Dark Magician" and "Celtic Guardian" and Joey's "Axe Raider" in the same place, Para uses "Magical Labyrinth" to separate Yugi's cards and Joey's cards. When Joey has his cards advance and regroup out of the maze, his "Axe Raider" gets ambushed and destroyed by the brothers' "Jirai Gumo". The brothers then got their "Labyrinth Tank" right behind "Jirai Gumo" so that way both of Dox's monsters are ready to attack this card, but Yugi uses "Mystic Box" to destroy "Jirai Gumo" and put "Dark Magician" where "Jirai Gumo" use to be. "Dark Magician" then destroys "Labyrinth Tank", saving this card. Later, Yugi uses "Magical Hats" to hide this card and "Dark Magician" from the brothers' "Dungeon Worm". After "Dungeon Worm" destroys an empty hat, Joey got this card out and equips him with "Salamandra" to increase his ATK by 700 then attacks "Dungeon Worm" and because of the weakness "Dungeon Worm" has to fire, it lost the bonus from the brothers' "Monster Tamer", resulting in the destruction of "Dungeon Worm". When the brothers releases their "Gate Guardian", the brothers sent the top section to attack this card but Yugi uses "Mirror Force" to send the attack right back but the brothers uses the middle section to protect the top section but the attack destroys "Monster Tamer". Joey sent this card to attack the middle section but the brothers uses the bottom section to negate the attack. The bottom section then attacks the entire maze, resulting in this card being destroyed as this card's weakness to water attacks causes this card's ATK to decrease by 300.
  • When Joey Wheeler duels with Bandit Keith, Joey uses this card to destroy Keith's "Zoa" (due to Keith "accidentally" revealing "Zoa" earlier) and equips him with "Salamandra" to destroy Zoa but Keith expected this and uses Magic Metal Force to transform "Zoa" into "Metalzoa". Keith then uses the "Magic Metal Force" other effect to negate the attack made by this card and destroy this card while inflicting the ATK difference between "Metalzoa" and this card as damage to Joey's Life Points.[3]

Legendary Heroes

  • While dueling in the Big Five's virtual world, Joey Wheeler first uses this card to destroy "Dragon Zombie" but then "Dragon Zombie" came back even stronger than before. "Dragon Zombie" then destroys this card. During his duel with the champion at the coliseum to win a card, Joey uses this card to attack the champion's "Harpie Lady" but the champion counters with "Mirror Wall" to negate this card's attack and halve this card's ATK. When the champion equips "Rose Whip" to "Harpie Lady" and tries to use it to attack this card, Joey takes the mask he's wearing off as he realizes the champion is Mai Valentine. When Mai sees this, she stops her attack on this card and decides to help her friends get through the sandstorm in the desert.

Battle City

  • When Joey Wheeler duels against Espa Roba, this card is shown in Joey's hand.

Virtual World

  • In his duels, this card serves as Joey Wheeler's Deck Master which has the ability to transfer some of his own ATK to other Warrior monsters Joey controls.
    • When Joey Wheeler duels with Johnson, Joey uses this card's Deck Master ability to transfer 500 of its ATK to "Gearfried the Iron Knight". On the next turn, he transferred 300 of his Deck Master's ATK to "Little-Winguard". Later, Joey special summons his Deck Master to the Field then equips this card with "Burning Soul Sword" and activates "Arduous Decision" as Joey has no other monster cards to tribute for the effect of "Burning Soul Sword". With some luck, Joey is able to special summon "Goblin Attack Force" through the effect of "Arduous Decision" then tributes "Goblin Attack Force" to activate "Burning Soul Sword" to increase his Deck Master's ATK by the ATK of "Goblin Attack Force" and Joey's Deck Master attacks and destroys Johnson's "Dragoness the Wicked Knight", winning Joey the duel.
    • When Joey Wheeler and Yugi Muto tag-team duel with the Big Five (using Tristan Taylor's body), Joey uses this card's Deck Master ability to transfer 1000 of its ATK to "Rocket Warrior". Later, Joey special summons his Deck Master to the Field then he fuses with Yugi's "Dark Magician" (Yugi's Deck Master) via Yugi's "Polymerization" to create "Dark Flare Knight". After "Mirage Knight" spilts back into "Dark Magician" and this card, Yugi hides his "Dark Magician" via "Magical Hats" then uses his Deck Master's ability to duplicate the effect of "Magical Hats" to hide this card as well. When the Big Five's "Berserk Dragon" attacks all of the "Magical Hats" on Yugi's side of the field to destroy Yugi's "Dark Magician", Joey saves the day by having his Deck Master take the attack meant for Yugi's Deck Master then Joey activates "Silver Dollar" to negate the attack. After Joey activates "Knight's Title" to turn Yugi's "Dark Magician" into "Dark Magician Knight", Joey's Deck Master transfers 700 ATK to "Dark Magician Knight" to use to attack and destroy the Big Five's "Berserk Dragon", winning Joey and Yugi the duel.
  • When Joey Wheeler fends off Gozaburo Kaiba's chess army, this card is shown tag teaming with Yugi Muto's "Dark Magician" to help fend off the monsters while Yugi, Joey, and Duke Devlin head for the arcade. Joey recalls this card back when Yugi tells Joey and Duke to go on while he holds off the chess army.

Battle City Finals

  • After Joey Wheeler duels against Yami Marik, Joey uses this card while dreaming he has several duels:
    • When Joey Wheeler duels against an unknown kid, Joey uses this card to destroy the kid's "Holograh" and win the duel.[4]
    • When Joey duels against another unknown kid, Joey summons this card and equips "Gust Fan" to increase the ATK of the kid's "Metal Dragon" but lowers the dragon's DEF. Joey then plays "Shield & Sword" to swap the ATK and DEF of all monsters on the Field out. Joey then has this card attack the kid's "Metal Dragon", but in Joey's haste he didn't notice that the kid activated "Castle Walls" before Joey activates "Shield & Sword". As a result, this card's attack backfires on Joey, destroying this card and losing Joey the duel.

Waking the Dragons

  • During Joey Wheeler's second duel with Mai Valentine (while under Dartz's influence), Joey special summons this card via the first effect of his "Blue Flame Swordsman" after Mai's "Cyber Harpie Lady" (equipped with "Aero Nail") destroys Joey's "Blue Flame Swordsman" then Joey tributes this card to summon "Cyber-Tech Alligator". Later, Joey special summons this card again via the first effect of "Blue Flame Swordsman" after "Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation" destroys Joey's "Blue Flame Swordsman". On the final turn of the duel, Mai's "Harpie Lady 1" (powered up by the second effect of "Blue Flame Swordsman" to transfer the ATK to the card so Joey takes 0 damage) attacks this card but Joey activates "Skull Dice" and gets a two on the roll so the ATK of "Harpie Lady 1" is halved. The attack continues, destroying this card.
