- In episode 38, Carly Carmine uses this card during her Ground Duel against Sayer. After Carly activates this card, she said that her dueling will read Sayer's future. Hearing this, Sayer thought Carly was using the same Fortune-Telling strategy, that he had defeated before and told her that he doesn't believe in supernatural concepts and refuses to allow his future to be controlled by anyone, fate or not. Carly challenged him to try and escape from the fate she's about to foretell. Carly then Normal Summons "Fortune Lady Light". This activates this card's effect, banishing "Fortune Lady Light", however this activates the third effect of "Fortune Lady Light", allowing Carly to Special Summon "Fortune Lady Fire". The third effect of "Fortune Lady Fire" then activates, destroying Sayer's "Magical Android" and inflicting its ATK to Sayer as damage. At the end of her turn, Carly tells Sayer that the fortune she predicted for him is death. In the next episode, this card banishes "Psychic Commander" after Sayer Normal Summons it. Sayer planned to tune "Magical Android" with "Psychic Commander" during his next turn in order to Synchro Summon "Thought Ruler Archfiend" after "Psychic Commander" returns to his field during his next Standby Phase. On Carly's Standby Phase, "Fortune Lady Light" returned to the field as per this card's second effect. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
