- In episode 28, Gravekeeper's Chief uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He Tribute Summons this card by Tributing "Gravekeeper's Curse". This card then gains 500 ATK due to "Necrovalley's" effect. Due to this card's effect, the Chief's Graveyard becomes immune to the effects of "Necrovalley". The Chief then activates this card's effect to revive "Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier". After "Gravekeeper's Assailant" attacks and destroys "Dark Catapulter", the chief uses this card to attack directly, but Jaden activates "Draining Shield" to negate the attack and gain Life Points equal to this card's ATK. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
- This card also appears in a flashback Jaden has when he reminds the Chief on him using "Royal Tribute" to force Jaden to discard all monsters in his hand.
- In episode 29, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Jaden has when he remembers his previous experiences with actual Shadow Games.
