• Aster Phoenix uses Guard Penalty in his duel against Zane Truedale. He uses it in a combo with Spark Blaster. He then used Spark Blaster to switch Zane's Cyber Twin Dragon to Defense Position. This activated this card's effect, allowing Aster to draw a card. He then used "Spark Blaster" to switch "Cyber Twin Dragon" into Attack Position. He then used "Spark Blaster" to switch "Cyber Twin Dragon" back into Defense Position. This activated this card's effect again, allowing Aster to draw another card. This card's effect expired on Aster's End Phase. The TCG/OCG counterpart would only allow 1 card to be drawn should the conditions be met for its effect.
