Card Appearances:Guardian Dreadscythe
- Rafael used this card in his second duel against Yami Yugi. It was summoned after Yami destroyed "Guardian Eatos" with "Amulet Dragon". This card then gained 500 ATK due to "The Seal of Orichalcos". Rafael then used this card's effect to take "Reaper Scythe - Dreadscythe from his Graveyard and equip it to this card. This gave this card 500 more ATK since a monster was in his Graveyard. Rafael then switched this card to Attack Position(this card was in Defense Position when Rafael summoned it). He then used "Reaper Scythe"'s effect to tribute every other monster on his field so that way his "Dreadscythe"'s ATK would increase to 5500. Rafael then used this card to destroy "Amulet Dragon". On Rafael's next turn, he used "Obedience" to switch Yami's "Dark Magician Girl" into Attack Position. He then attacked "Dark Magician Girl", but Yami used "Magical Pigeon" to return his monster back to his hand and summon two "Pigeon tokens" to the field. This card then destroyed one of the tokens. Once Rafael ended his turn, "Magical Pigeon"'s other effect destroyed the remaining Pigeon Token and summoned "Dark Magician Girl" back to the field. Yami then used "Underworld Circle" to destroy all monsters on the field and remove from play every monster in both players' decks. Rafael immediately activates this card's effect, discarding one card in his hand to prevent its destruction. Rafael later had this card attack "Dark Magician" (who was revived by the effect of "Underworld Circle"), but Yami used "Zero Gravity" to switch all monsters battle positions, switching all monsters out to Defense Position. Rafael however then activates "Spirit Hunting", switching his monster back to Attack Position and destroying both of Yami's monsters as they were in Defense Position. This card was then attacked by "Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight" with Yami activating its effect, discarding a card from his hand to destroy this card at the start of the Damage Step without applying Damage Calculation. Rafael then immediately used this card's effect to discard one card and prevent its destruction. Rafael then discarded "Monster Reborn" to activate "Orichalcos Sword of Sealing" which he then equipped onto Yami's "Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight", negating its effects. Rafael then had this card attack and destroy "Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight", but Yami activates "Reduction Barrier", reducing the Battle Damage by 10% and saving himself. Yami then used "Spider Web" to take "Monster Reborn" from Rafael's Graveyard. Yami then activated it to bring back "Eatos". Yami then merged "The Claw of Hermos" with "Queen's Knight" to create "Goddess Bow" which he then equipped to "Eatos", doubling its ATK. Since "Eatos" was removed from the Graveyard, this card's ATK decreased to 5000. Yami then attacked this card with "Eatos", with Rafael immediately using this card's effect, discarding a card to prevent its destruction. Yami then activates the effect of "Goddess Bow" to negate the Battle Damage to Yami and "Eatos" and allow "Eatos" to attack again everytime it failed to destroy this card. With each attack, Rafael is forced to discard a card from his hand until he has no more cards to discard. Once that happens, both this card and "Eatos" are destroyed as they had the same amount of ATK. This also causes Rafael to regain control of himself as the darkness had been taking ahold of him ever since "Eatos"' destruction.
