When "[[Elemental HERO Flare Neos]]" (whose ATK was 4600 due to its own effect and the effect of "[[Neo Space]]" attacks "[[Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat]]"), Jesse activates this card to activate "[[Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins]]" from his Deck. This destroys "Neo Space" and decreases the ATK of "Flare Neos" by 900. Since Jaden had a Field Spell when this card was activated, it second effect activates, allowing Jaden to draw a card. After that resolves, this card leaves the field and "Flare Neos" loses 400 ATK. "Flare Neos" then destroys "Amethyst Cat", but Jesse uses the second effect of "Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins" to halve the Battle Damage he takes. Jesse then activates the last effect of "Amethyst Cat" to place it in his [[Spell & Trap Card Zone]] as a [[Continuous Spell Card]].
