In episode 123, Yami Marik uses this card during the four-way Battle Royal between himself, Yami Yugi, Joey Wheeler, and Seto Kaiba. He summons this card in Attack Position. (In the manga version, he mentions - to himself - that he plans to use it on his next turn to Tribute Summon something else.) Later "Beast of Gilfer" attacks Kaiba directly, but Kaiba activates "Attack Guidance Armor" to redirect the attack to this card. Yami Marik then activates "Mirror Force" to destroy all Attack Position monsters Yugi controls, but Yugi activates "Seven Tools of the Bandit" to negate Yami Marik's "Mirror Force" and destroy it. "Beast of Gilfer" then destroys this card.

When this card was seen on Marik's Duel Disk, Lord Poison was a DARK Normal Monster with a different artwork.

In episode 16, Akiza Izinski draws this card during her Ground Duel against Gill Randsborg.

In episode 24, during Akiza and Yusei Fudo's Ground Duel, three copies of this card are shown when "Card Defense" fully resolves.

In episode 38, Akiza uses this card during her Ground Duel against Misty Tredwell. She Special Summons this card from her hand via the effect of "Twilight Rose Knight". She then tunes this card with "Twilight Rose Knight" in order to Synchro Summon "Black Rose Dragon". In the next episode, Akiza activates "Synchro Spirits" to banish "Black Rose Dragon" from her Graveyard and revive both this card and "Twilight Rose Knight". After Akiza activates "Dimension Reversion" to return "Black Rose Dragon" to her Extra Deck, she activates "Urgent Tuning" to Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster during the Battle Phase. She then tunes this card with "Twilight Rose Knight" in order to Synchro Summon "Black Rose Dragon".

In episode 41, Akiza uses this card during her Ground Duel against Yusei. She sends this card from her hand to the Graveyard in order to activate "Wonder Clover".

In episode 75, Akiza uses this card during her Turbo Duel against Tetsu Trudge. She Special Summons this card from her hand via the effect of "Twilight Rose Knight". Akiza then tunes this card with "Twilight Rose Knight" in order to Synchro Summon "Black Rose Dragon". On the final turn of the Duel, Akiza banishes this card from her Graveyard in order to activate the second effect of "Splendid Rose".

In episode 95, this monster appears as one of the monsters that Yuma Tsukumo and his friends have to face while traveling in the Different Dimension Airship.

In the non-canon Duel YCS Providence 2012 Special: Yusei vs. Akiza, Akiza reveals this card from the top of her Deck with the effect of her "Witch of the Black Rose", and it is subsequently added to her hand. On her next turn, she Special Summons "Lord Poison" with the effect of "Twilight Rose Knight". Immediately afterwards, she uses it as Synchro Material with "Twilight Rose Knight" for "Black Rose Dragon". Later, it is banished to pay the cost of "Mark of the Rose".
