- This card's effect in manga is "Activate only when your opponent's monster attacks while you control a Spellcaster-Type monster. Negate the attack, select and destroy 1 face-up monster on your opponent field with ATK less than original ATK of attacking monster."
- In episode 66, Yami Yugi plays this card against Strings. He activates it when "Dark Magician Girl" is on the field, using it and "Spellbinding Circle" to redirect the attack of "Slifer the Sky Dragon" back to Strings. The effect of "Jam Defender" activated, redirecting the strike to "Revival Jam".
- In episode 85 this card can be seen when Yugi is rebuilding his Deck.
