This card could only be equipped to a Spellcaster-Type monster and increased its ATK by 500 instead of 700. Also, it did not increase the owner's Life Points upon destruction.

In episode 82, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yami Bakura. He equips this card onto "Dark Magician Girl", increasing its ATK by 500. "Dark Magician Girl" then attacks and destroys "Dark Necrofear", but this lets Yami Bakura activate "Dark Sanctuary". In the next episode, Yugi plays "Collected Power", which transfers this card's effect and the "Ghost of Dark Sanctuary" onto "Kuriboh". He then activates "Exile of the Wicked" to destroy "Kuriboh". This eliminates the "Ghost of Dark Sanctuary" and destroys this card.

In episode 103, Téa Gardner uses this card during her Duel against Crump. She equips this card onto "Maha Vailo", increasing its ATK by 500. Since "Maha Vailo" was equipped with an Equip Card, it gains 500 more ATK due to its own effect. "Maha Vailo" then attacks and destroys Crump's "Flying Penguin". On Téa's next turn, "Maha Vailo" attacks and destroys "Bolt Penguin". Crump then activates "Revenge Sacrifice", to Tribute "Maha Vailo" and Special Summon "Defender Iceberg" from his hand. Since "Maha Vailo" was removed from the field, this card is destroyed.

In episode 132, Yugi sets this card during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. He had planned initially to use it to power up his "Dark Magician" when "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacked it. If that was all done, both monsters would be destroyed in a Double KO before Kaiba summoned "Lord of D.". Two episodes later, "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" attacks "Red-Eyes B. Dragon", but Yugi activates this card to equip it to "Dark Paladin" and increase its ATK by 500, however Kaiba activates "Absorb Spell" to transfer the bonus to "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" instead. Yugi then activates "De-Fusion", to return "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" to the Extra Deck and Special Summons the three "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" in Kaiba's Graveyard to the field. This causes this card to be destroyed.

In episode 163, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He equips this card onto "Dark Magician Girl", increasing her ATK by 500. This made the ATK of "Dark Magician Girl" 3000. "Queen's Knight" then attacks and destroys "Berfomet". "Dark Magician Girl" then attacks and destroys "Big Shield Gardna". After Yugi Tributes "Dark Magician Girl" for the effect of "Catapult Turtle", this card is destroyed.

In episode 42, Dark Magician Girl uses this card during her Duel against Jaden Yuki. She equips this card to her own card, increasing its ATK by 700. "Dark Magician Girl" then attacks Jaden's "Elemental Hero Flame Wingman", but Jaden activates "Staunch Defender" and "Hero Barrier" (they resolve in reverse order). "Hero Barrier" then negates the attack made by "Dark Magician Girl". "Staunch Defender" then forces Dark Magician Girl's "Magician's Valkyrias" to attack "Flame Wingman". "Flame Wingman" then destroys both "Magician's Valkyrias". "Flame Wingman" then inflicts damage to Dark Magician Girl equal to the ATK of both "Magician's Valkyrias", winning Jaden the Duel.

In the non-canon duel North American WCQ 2011 Special: Yugi vs. Yusei, , Yugi uses this card in his Duel with Yusei. Yugi equips this card onto "Dark Magician Girl", allowing it to destroy Yusei's "Junk Warrior" in battle. After Yusei's "Shooting Star Dragon" destroys "Dark Magician Girl" by battle, this card increases Yugi's Life Points by 1000.

In the non-canon duel World Championship 2013 Special: Mai vs. Yugi, Yugi uses this card in his Duel with Mai. He equips this card onto "Dark Magician", allowing it to destroy Mai's "Harpie Channeler" through "Mirror Wall". After "Dark Magician" is tributed by "Black Magic Ritual", this card increases Yugi's Life Points by 1000.

In the non-canon duel World Championship 2016 Special: Yugi vs. Kaiba, Yugi uses this card in his Duel with Seto Kaiba. He equips this card to "Palladium Oracle Mahad". After "Mahad" is destroyed by the effect of "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon", this card is also destroyed and it increases Yugi's LP by 1000.
