- This card's attack name is Destructive Spell: Death Ultima in the original manga and the Japanese anime while the name is Chaos Scepter Blast in the English anime.
Duelist Kingdom
- When Yugi duels against Maximillion Pegasus, Yami Yugi Ritual Summons this card via "Dark Magic Ritual"(the last card Yugi left behind for Yami Yugi) by using his "Dark Magician" and Pegasus' "Jigen Bakudan" as sacrifices. On the next turn, the special effect of Pegasus' "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" immobilizes this card. The former then attempts to absorb this card, but Yugi activates "Multiply" to have his "Kuriboh" turn into a swarm. This forces Pegasus' "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" to absorb the Kuriboh swarm instead of this card. "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" then gains the ATK of "Kuriboh". The Kuribohs then all explode which blinds "Thousand-Eyes Restrict". Because of that, this card is now free from the effect of "Thousand-Eyes Restrict". Yugi then sent this card to attack and destroy Pegasus' "Thousand-Eyes Restrict", winning him the duel.

- When Yami Yugi duels against Arkana, this card is briefly seen in Arkana's hand. It is then discarded when Yugi activates "Card Destruction".[1]
