- Mystic Box could only be used with Dark Magician. It destroyed one card on the opponent's side of the field.
- Yugi Muto first used this in his Tag Duel with Joey Wheeler against the Paradox Brothers. He uses it to have his Dark Magician switch places with the brothers' Jirai Gumo, destroying Jirai Gumo in the process.
- Yugi used this card again in his second Duel against Seto Kaiba. He used this card to destroy Seto's "Ancient Lamp", allowing Dark Magician to destroy La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp.
