Duelist Kingdom

  • In episode 15, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against PaniK. He uses this card to fuse "Gaia The Fierce Knight" with "Curse of Dragon" in order to Fusion Summon "Gaia the Dragon Champion".
  • In episode 23, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He uses this card to fuse his three "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" together in order to Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". This card is also shown to be in Yugi's hand. In the next episode, Yugi activates his copy with "Living Arrow" in order to fuse "Mammoth Graveyard" onto "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" and create an imperfect fusion on Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" which would weaken Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" until it was weak enough for Yugi to destroy.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears within Kaiba's thoughts when he notes his goal on fusing his three "Blue-Eyes" together to form "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". The only difficulty, according to Kaiba, would be drawing this card.
  • In episode 33, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Joey. He uses this card to fuse "Gaia The Fierce Knight" with "Curse of Dragon" in order to Fusion Summon "Gaia the Dragon Champion". Later Joey activates "Copycat" to activate this card as his card, allowing Joey to fuse Yugi's "Summoned Skull" (who Joey summoned onto his side of the field via the effect of "Graverobber") with "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" in order to Fusion Summon "Black Skull Dragon".
    • This card also appears when Yami Yugi explains to Joey that Duel Monsters is about the balance between Monster, Spell and Trap Cards.

Legendary Heroes

Battle City

  • In episode 50, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Bandit Keith while the latter was possessed by Marik Ishtar. He uses this card to fuse "Gaia The Fierce Knight" with "Curse of Dragon" and Fusion Summon "Gaia the Dragon Champion".
  • In episode 73, this card is shown in Kaiba's hand during his Tag Duel with Yami Yugi against Lumis and Umbra.
  • In episode 78, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Joey has when he starts to remember that he is a Duelist (as Marik Ishtar brainwashed him into Dueling Yugi and defeating him).
  • In episode 85, this card can be seen when Yugi is rebuilding his Deck.

Virtual World

  • In episode 98, a virtual Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Total Defense Shogun. He uses this card to fuse his three copies of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" toger and Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon".
  • In episode 103, during Téa Gardner's Duel against Crump, this card was one of the four cards revealed via the Deck Master Ability of "Dark Magician Girl" before Téa selects "Sage's Stone".
    • In the same episode, Yugi uses this card while he and Yami Yugi were goes through a doorway puzzle. Yugi activates this card to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berformet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".
    • This card also appears in a flashback Téa Gardner has when she remembers Yugi talking about "Maha Vailo" looking similar to him and having a great power inside its effect.
  • In episode 109, this card appears in a flashback Leichter has when he explains to Seto that his treachery began when Gozaburo Kaiba gave him a large amount of dollars to test Seto's business skills.
  • In episode 118, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Noah. He uses this card to fuse Seto's three copies of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" together and Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon".

Battle City Finals

  • In episode 131, this card is seen in a series of flashbacks Kaiba has when he notes to himself that he always feels excited when he Duels against Yugi.
  • In episode 132, this card can be seen in Kaiba's hand during his Duel against Yami Yugi. In the next episode, a unknown kid uses this card during a Dream Duel that Joey has. The unknown kid uses this card to fuse "Lesser Dragon" with "Steel Ogre Grotto 1" in order to Fusion Summon "Metal Dragon". In the following episode, Kaiba activates this card to fuse his "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" together and Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". Yugi then activates "Double Spell" to activate both Spell Cards that Kaiba activated this turn. First, Yugi uses the effect of "Monster Reborn" to revive "Buster Blader". Next, Yugi uses this card's effect to fuse "Dark Magician" with "Buster Blader" in order to Fusion Summon "Dark Paladin".
  • In episode 137, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Joey. He uses this card to fuse his two copies of "Thunder Dragon" together and Fusion Summon "Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon".

Waking the Dragons

  • In episode 148, this card appears in Yugi's thoughts when Yami Yugi notes that although Pegasus no longer has the Millennium Eye, he was the chosen one and he was the creator of Duel Monsters.
  • In episode 156, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael. He uses this card to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".
  • In episode 163, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yugi. He uses this card to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast". In the same Duel, this card is shown in Yugi's hand, but he discards it due to the effect of "Card Destruction".
  • In episode 164, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against an Orichalcos Soldier. He uses this card to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".
  • In episode 177, Yami Yugi and Kaiba both use this card during their Tag Duel against Dartz. Kaiba activates this card to fuse his three "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" together and Fusion Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". Later Yami Yugi activates his copy to fuse "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" with "Black Luster Soldier" in order to Fusion Summon "Dragon Master Knight".

Grand Championship

  • In episode 185, the KC Dueltek 760 uses this card during its duel against an unknown boy. After the Dueltek activates "DNA Surgery" to turn all monsters on the field into Dragon-type monsters, it activates this card to fuse "Battle Ox" with the four "Sheep Tokens" created by the effect of "Scapegoat" in order to Fusion Summon "Five-Headed Dragon".
  • In episode 188, this card appeared in Joey's hand during his Duel against Solomon Muto while the latter was disguised as Apdnarg Otum.
  • In episode 193, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Vivian Wong. He uses this card to fuse "Dark Magician" with "Buster Blader" in order to Fusion Summon "Dark Paladin".
  • In episode 196, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Leon. He activates this card to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".

Dawn of the Duel

  • In episode 200, Yami Bakura uses this card during his Duel against Kaiba. He uses this card to fuse "Headless Knight" with "The Earl of Demise" in order to Fusion Summon "The Duke of Demise".
    • This card also appears within Yami Yugi's mind when Yami Bakura claims to him that his mind is an unsolvable maze and that he pursues games like riddles.
    • This card also appears within Kaiba's briefcase when he opens it up and takes his Duel Disk with him.
  • In episode 223, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yugi. He uses this card to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast".

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

Season 1

  • In episode 8, Jaden and Zane Truesdale both use this card during their Duel against each other. Jaden uses this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Sparkman" in order to Fusion Summon "Thunder Giant". Zane later activates his own copy to fuse his two "Cyber Dragons" together and Fusion Summon "Cyber Twin Dragon". After "Cyber Twin Dragon" destroys "Wroughtweiler" in battle, Jaden activates the effect of "Wroughtweiler" to add this card and "Clayman" from the Graveyard to his hand. Later Jaden activates this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Elemental Hero Bubbleman" in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Mudballman".
  • In episode 10, Syrus and Jaden both use this card during their Tag Duel against Para and Dox. Syrus activates his copy to fuse "Steamroid" with "Gyroid" in order to Fusion Summon "Steam Gyroid". Later Jaden activates his own copy to fuse "Burstinatrix" with "Clayman" in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Rampart Blaster".
  • In episode 13, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Wheeler. He uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".
  • In episode 14, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Jinzo. He uses this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Rampart Blaster". After "Jinzo" attacks and destroys "Wroughtweiler", Jaden activates the effect of "Wroughtweiler" to return this card and "Clayman" from the Graveyard to his hand. On the last turn of the duel, Jaden activates this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Bubbleman" in order to Fusion Summon "Mudballman". This move causes the "Clay Wrap" equipped onto "Clayman" to be sent to the Graveyard. This activates the effect of "Clay Wrap", allowing Jaden to destroy "Amplifier". Since "Amplifier" was destroyed, its second effect activates, destroying "Jinzo".
  • In episode 15, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Harrington Rosewood. He uses this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Rampart Blaster".
  • In episode 16, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against the Duel Giant. He uses this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Rampart Blaster". Later Jaden activates another copy to fuse "Sparkman" with "Clayman" in order to Fusion Summon "Thunder Giant".
  • In episode 17, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Damon. He uses this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Rampart Blaster". After "Drawler" destroys "Wroughtweiler" in battle, Jaden activates the effect of "Wroughtweiler" to add this card and "Burstinatrix" from his Graveyard to his hand. On the last turn of the duel, Jaden activates this card to fuse "Burstinatrix" with "Avian" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".
    • This card is also shown in a flashback going down a waterfall as part of Damon's training montage.
  • In episode 18, Dimitri and Jaden both use this card during their Duel against each other while the former was using Yugi's Deck. Dimitri uses his copy to fuse "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" with "Berfomet" in order to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast". Later Jaden activates his copy to fuse "Sparkman" with "Clayman" in order to Fusion Summon "Thunder Giant". After "Dark Magician" destroys "Wroughtweiler" in battle, Jaden uses the effect of "Wroughtweiler" to add this card and "Burstinatrix" from his Graveyard to his hand. In the next episode, Jaden activates this card to fuse "Burstinatrix" with "Avian" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman". On the last turn of the Duel, Jaden activates "Double Spell" to discard a Spell Card and use Dimitri's "Polymerization" from the Graveyard as his card, allowing Jaden to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" and Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".
  • In episode 20, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Blair Flannigan. He uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".
  • In episode 21, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Bastion Misawa. He activates this card to fuse "Avian", "Bubbleman" and "Sparkman" in order to Fusion Summon "Tempest", but Bastion discards "Double Spell" in order to activate "Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell", negating the effect of this card and destroying it as well as forbidding Jaden from activating any other copies of this card for the remainder of the Duel. This prevented Jaden from summoning any Fusion Monsters for the remainder of the duel. Despite this, Jaden still managed to win the duel in the next episode.
    • In the former-mentioned episode, this card appeared while Jaden was rebuilding his deck.
  • In episode 23, both Jaden and Belowski use this card during their Duel against each other. Jaden uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman". Later Belowski activates his own copy of this card to fuse his three "Mokey Mokeys" together and Fusion Summon "Mokey Mokey King".
    • This card can also be shown when Jaden is shown rebuilding his Deck.
  • In episode 25, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Chazz. He uses this card to fuse "Sparkman", "Avian" and "Bubbleman" together and Fusion Summon "Tempest". After "Wroughtweiler" was destroyed by the effect of "Armed Dragon LV7", Jaden activates the effect of "Wroughtweiler" in order to add "Burstinatrix" and this card from his Graveyard to his hand. In the next episode, Jaden activates this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".

Jaden then activates this card to fuse "Flame Wingman" with "Sparkman" in order to Fusion Summon "Shining Flare Wingman".
  • In episode 50, Chumley uses this card during his Duel against Dr. Crowler. He uses this card to fuse "Big Koala" with "Des Kangaroo" in order to Fusion Summon "Master of Oz".
    • This card also appears in a series of flashbacks Chumley has when he sees his friends cheering him on and remembers all of the previous Duels his friends were involved in. Chumley then notes that there was something that all of his friends had taught him this year.
  • In episode 51, Jaden and Zane both use this card during their Duel against each other. Zane uses this card to fuse his three "Cyber Dragons" together and Fusion Summon "Cyber End Dragon". Later Jaden activates his copy to fuse "Wildheart" with "Bladedge" in order to Fusion Summon "Wildedge". In the next episode, Jaden activates "Fusion Recovery" to add "Burstinatrix" and this card from his Graveyard to his hand. Jaden then activates "Miracle Fusion" to banish "Avian" and "Burstinatrix" from his Graveyard and Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman". Jaden then activates this card to fuse "Flame Wingman" with "Sparkman" in order to Fusion Summon "Shining Flare Wingman".

Season 2

  • In episode 58, Jaden and Aster use this card during their Duel against each other. Jaden uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman". On Aster's turn, he activates his own copy of this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Phoenix Enforcer". On Jaden's turn, he activates a second copy of this card to fuse "Avian" with "Bubbleman" and "Sparkman" and Fusion Summon "Tempest". On Aster's turn, he activates his second copy of this card to fuse "Phoenix Enforcer" with "Sparkman" in order to Fusion Summon "Shining Phoenix Enforcer". In the next episode, Jaden adds this card and "Bubbleman" from his Graveyard to his hand via "Wroughtweiler's" effect after "Destiny HERO - Diamond Dude" destroys "Wroughtweiler" in battle. Later Jaden activates this card to fuse "Wildheart" with "Elemental HERO Necroshade" in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental HERO Necroid Shaman".
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card can be seen when Jaden is shown shuffling his Deck in the Ra Yellow Dorm.
  • In episode 66, this card appears in a flashback Jaden has when he sees Wheeler as Dr. Crowler and Wheeler's furniture as "Ancient Gear Golem" which makes Jaden remember his Duel against Crowler.
    • This card is also seen in a flashback Jaden has when he sees Wheeler as Zane which makes him remember his first Duel with Zane.
  • In episode 72, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Howard X Miller. He uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".
  • In episode 77, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against T-Bone. He uses this card to fuse "Avian", "Sparkman" and "Bubbleman" together and Fusion Summon "Tempest".
  • In episode 78, Jaden uses two copies of this card during his Tag Duel with Aster against Sarina and a duplicate of the latter. He uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman". Later Jaden activates another copy of this card to fuse "Wildheart" with "Necroshade" in order to Fusion Summon "Necroid Shaman".
  • In episode 80, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Alice. He uses this card to fuse "Clayman" with "Sparkman" in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Thunder Giant". After Alice activates "Released Curse" to destroy all cards on the field and inflict 300 damage to both players for each of their destroyed cards, Jaden activates "Fusion Recovery" to return this card and "Sparkman" from his Graveyard to his hand.
  • In episode 83, this card appeared in one of Sheppard's flashbacks. It was one of the five cards that was in Zane's hand when he was practicing on trying to summon "Cyber End Dragon".
  • In episode 85, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Franz. He uses this card to fuse "Wildheart" and "Necroshade" in order to Fusion Summon "Necroid Shaman".

  • In episode 122, Jaden uses this card in order to aide his group in their escape from a group of Duel Ghouls. He uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".
  • In episode 123, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Ms. Fontaine while the latter was a Duel Ghoul. He uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".
  • In episode 126, Jaden and Chazz both use this card during their Duel against each other while Chazz was a Duel Ghoul. Jaden uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" and Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman". Later Chazz uses this card to fuse "Dark Blade" with "Pitch-Dark Dragon" and Fusion Summon "Dark Blade the Dragon Knight".
  • In episode 130, Jaden uses this card during his Tag Duel with Jesse Anderson against against Marcel while the latter was possessed by Yubel. He uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Bubbleman" in order to Fusion Summon "Mariner".
  • In episode 135, Jaden uses this card while fighting the Dark World Army in a cave (though he didn't actually use this card on-screen. He uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" in order to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".
    • This card also appears in a series of flashbacks Jaden has when he notes that until now he went by his instincts without giving things a second thought. Jaden notes if he stops now, he won't be able to go further and save Jesse.
  • In episode 146, this card is shown in Jaden's hand during his Duel against Zane. Upon seeing this card, Jaden sees various flashbacks of the Supreme King using Fusion Monsters to hurt and defeat many Duelists that were trying to stop evil deeds. This prevents Jaden from playing this card as well as prevent him from thinking about using any other strategy besides Fusion Summoning, Later Jaden draws this card during his Duel against Guardian Baou, but he still finds himself unable to play this card. In the next episode, Bastion and Tania tell him he must use this card in order to win the duel, but Jaden is still unwilling to do so due to the dark memories of the Supreme King haunting him, however he decides to use this card for an alternative strategy that will win him the duel. He then discards this card in order to activate "Revoke Fusion". Later Zane uses this card during his duel against Jesse Anderson while the latter was possessed by Yubel. He uses this card to fuse the two "Cyber Dragons" in his hand together and Fusion Summon "Cyber Twin Dragon".
  • In episode 151, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Jesse while the latter was possessed by Yubel. Although the dark memories try to haunt Jaden again, he remembers Zane's duel with the Yubel-possessed Jesse and he gave it his all with his Fusion Monsters and the cards that were used to summon them. This is enough for Jaden to conquer the mental block that prevents him from playing this card and activating it. Jaden then uses this card to fuse "Avian" with "Bursinatrix" and Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".
  • In episode 156, this card is shown in a flashback Hassleberry has when he remembers his first Duel against Jaden and notes to Alexis that what happened during her first Duel against Jaden was similar to what happened during his first Duel against Jaden.
    • This card is also shown in a flashback Chazz has when Alexis reminds him it was because of his first loss against Jaden that they were able to eventually able to get him back when he ran away. Chazz notes he easily remembers the day when he was finally reborn as a new duelist, but after remembering how he lost to Jaden, he realized it wasn't as glorious as he thought it was.

Season 4

  • In episode 168, this card can be seen in a display case among others as part of a replica of Yugi's Deck.
  • In episode 172, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Jesse Anderson while the former was thinking that Jesse was Trueman (This was due to the darkness from "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool" infecting Jaden's this card). He uses this card to fuse "Avian", "Bubbleman" and "Sparkman" and Fusion Summon "Tempest". After "Rainbow Dragon" destroys "Tempest" in battle, this card is shown flying out of Jaden's Graveyard due to the attack's force. This purifies this card of the darkness that infected it (the darkness that infected this card came from "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool") and removes the dark spell Jaden was under. Jaden then sees that he was dueling Jesse and as such, the duel ends with no result.
  • In episode 178, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Nightshroud. He discards this card in order to activate "Future Vision".
  • In episode 179, Jaden plays this card in his Duel against Yugi. He fuses "Avian" with "Burstinatrix" to Fusion Summon "Flame Wingman".
    • This card can also be seen in a display case among other cards as part of a replica of Yugi's Deck.

  • In chapter 6, Jaden plays this card against Alexis Rhodes. He fuses "Woodsman" with "Ocean" to Fusion Summon "Terra Firma".

  • Jaden Yuki uses this card in his Duel with Yugi Muto and Yusei Fudo against Paradox, fusing "Junk Gardna" and "Elemental HERO Neos" to Fusion Summon "Elemental HERO Neos Knight".
    • Three copies of this card also appear in Paradox's explanation when he tells Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei that the reason why he came to the past was so that he could prevent his own bad future from happening. Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei disagreed with going along with Paradox's plan as Paradox's actions will destroy and ruin their eras in time since they revolved around Duel Monsters.

  • In the non-canon duel North American WCQ 2011 Special: Yugi vs. Yusei, Yugi activates this card to fuse the "Berfomet" and "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" in his hand to Fusion Summon "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beasts". Later, he activates a second copy to fuse the "Buster Blader" and "Dark Magician" on the field to Fusion Summon "Dark Paladin".
  • In the non-canon duel YCS Providence 2012 Special: Mai, Joey and Yugi vs. Pegasus and Bakura, Pegasus activates this card, fusing the "Relinquished" on the field and "Thousand-Eyes Idol" in his hand to Fusion Summon "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" against Mai. Later, Joey activates this card to fuse the "Alligator's Sword" and "Baby Dragon" in his hand to Fusion Summon "Alligator's Sword Dragon" against Pegasus.
