• In the Battle City arc of the anime, Fusion Monsters could not attack on the turn they were Fusion Summoned. This card was the one of the few cards that could help bypass this limitation. After Battle City, this rule was eliminated, thus rendering this card useless.

Battle City (part 1)Edit

• In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 06565: "Mime Control, Part 1", Strings uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi while the former was possessed by Marik Ishtar. He activates this card to allow "Humanoid Worm Drake" to attack on the turn it is summoned. "Humanoid Worm Drake" then attacks "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts", but Yami Yugi activates "De-Fusion" to return "Humanoid Worm Drake" to the Extra Deck and Special Summon "Humanoid Slime" and "Worm Drake" from the Graveyard.

Virtual WorldEdit

• In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 09999: "Isolated in Cyber Space, Part 1", Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Gansley. He activates this card to allow "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast" to attack the turn it was summoned. "Chimera" then attacks "Ipiria", but Gansley Tributes "Ipiria" and "Ashingray" in order to activate the Deck Master Ability of his "Deepsea Warrior", negating the attack and inflicting damage to Yugi equal to the ATK of "Chimera".

• In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 105105: "Courtroom Chaos, Part 2", this card can be seen in Johnson's hand during his Duel against Joey Wheeler.

• In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 115115: "Brothers in Arms, Part 2", Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Noah Kaiba. He activates this card to allow "Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon" to attack in the turn it was Fusion Summoned.

• In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 118118: "Noah's Final Threat, Part 2", Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Noah Kaiba. He activates this card to allow "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" to attack in the turn it was Fusion Summoned.

• In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 137137: "Battle for the Bronze - Part 3", Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Joey. He activates this card to allow "Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon" to attack in the turn it was Fusion Summoned.
