Yu-Gi-Oh!
- Since Fusion Monsters could not attack on the turn they were Fusion Summoned, this card was the answer to this limitation:
- When Yami Yugi duels Strings, Strings uses this card to allow his "Humanoid Worm Drake" to attack on the same turn Yugi's "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" but Yugi activates "De-Fusion" to separate Strings' "Humanoid Worm Drake" into "Humanoid Slime" and "Worm Drake".
- When Yugi Muto duels Gansley, Yugi uses this card to allow his "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast" to attack on the same turn one of Gansley's monsters but Gansley activates his Deck Master Ability of tributing his "Ashinigray" and "Ipiria" to negate the attack and inflict damage to Yugi instead.
- When Yugi Muto duels against Noah Kaiba, Yugi uses this card to allow "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" to attack on the same turn to attack and destroy Noah's "Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi". Yugi then used "De-Fusion" to separate "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" into the three copies of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" and win the duel.
- During Seto Kaiba's second duel against Joey Wheeler, Kaiba activates this card to allow his "Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon" on the same turn to destroy Joey's "Thousand Dragon". Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" then attacks Joey directly, winning Kaiba the duel.
