- In the anime, this card resided in the Graveyard. It was seen during the Shadow Duel between Yami Yugi and Yami Bakura.
- Panik then used this card in his duel against Yami Yugi. He used its effect to destroy one of Yugi's face-down cards, thinking it's the Swords of Revealing Light, but it turns out to be Spellbinding Circle. The Trap Card redirected one of Panik's attacks towards the Reaper, destroying it. In the anime, it targets Spell Cards instead of Trap Cards and is not a flip effect.
- When Reaper of the Cards is summoned, it destroyed one Spell card on the field.
- Reaper of the Cards then made another appearance when Yami Bakura sent some of Maximillion Pegasus' guards to the Graveyard.
- Its effect was called Card Eraser in the Japanese anime and Call of the Graveyard in the English version.
