Yu-Gi-Oh!

  • This monster's attack name is called Black Fire Bullet (黒炎弾 Kokuendan) in the original Japanese and "Inferno Fire Blast" in the English dub.

Pre-Duelist Kingdom

Duelist Kingdom

  • In episode 12, Rex Raptor uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler. After Rex summons this card, he equips this card with "Dragon Nails", increasing its ATK by 600. This card then attacks and destroys both "Swamp Battleguard" and "Lava Battleguard". On the last turn of the Duel, Rex (after realizing how powerful "Time Wizard" could be in his Deck) tells Joey that they will wager the cards they have currently with each other and the winner will obtain all the cards that were on the field prior to the declaration. Joey then summons "Time Wizard" and activates its effect. Joey succeeds in the effect, so the effect of "Time Wizard" destroys this card and inflicts damage to Rex equal to half of this card's ATK, winning Joey the Duel. As per the stakes of the duel, Joey won this card and "Dragon Nails" from Rex.
  • In episode 16, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. After Joey summons this card, he uses it to attack and destroy Kaiba's "Rabid Horseman". Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" then attacks and destroys this card, defeating Joey.
    • This card can also be seen in Kaiba's briefcase when he takes out a Duel Disk from his briefcase and tosses it to Joey.
  • In episode 18, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Bonz. After Joey summons this card, he uses it to attack and destroy Bonz's "Pumpking the King of Ghosts", preventing "Pumpking" from continuously increasing Bonz's Zombies' ATK. Bonz's "Dragon Zombie" (which had 2880 ATK due to the graveyard Field Power Bonus and "Pumpking's" effect) then attacks and destroys this card.
    • This card also appears within a series of flashbacks Joey has when he remembers all the times that "Time Wizard" gave him a miraculous win.

Legendary Heroes

  • In episode 44, Joey uses this card when he and his friends get attacked by a "Sand Stone" while they were going through the desert. Joey summons this card and uses it to attack and destroy "Sand Stone". Later Joey uses this card when he and his friends had to defeat the "Gate Guardian" who was blocking the way out of the maze. Yugi activates "Polymerization" to fuse "Summoned Skull" with this card and Fusion Summon "Black Skull Dragon".
  • In episode 45, Joey summoned this card in the battle against the "Mythic Dragon". This card, Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", Mai Valentine's "Harpie's Pet Dragon", and Yugi's "Curse of Dragon" then attack "Mythic Dragon", but the Mythic Dragon easily blocks the attacks with attacks of its own. When Mokuba was about to be attacked by the "Mythic Dragon", Joey orders this card to block the attack. Mythic Dragon then destroys this card and this causes Joey to disappear because his Life Points had hit zero. Later, the presence of this card in the Graveyard increases the ATK of Yugi's "Dragon Master Knight" by its own effect, allowing it to destroy "Mythic Dragon".

Battle City

  • In episode 55, Yugi tells Joey about the Ante rule in Battle City, Joey takes this card out and notes that means someone can take away this card from him if he loses. He then claims this card is his goddess of victory, and he'll just keep winning to get one rare card after another. When Joey tries to register for Battle City, the Rare Hunter in charge of registration was going to deny his entry due to his skill level being too low, but he notices that this card is Joey's rarest card. Seeing how rare this card is, the Rare Hunter ultimately changes Joey's Level secretly so he can be registered in Battle City, but only so that the Rare Hunters could acquire this card. After Yugi and his friends leave, the Rare Hunter calls some other Hunters and states that he found a nice catch for them. Later, during the night, Joey heads off to the hospital was forced to duel against Seeker, when the Rare Hunters ambushed him. Joey uses this card during his Duel against Seeker. He summons this card by Tributing Panther Warrior and Alligator's Sword. This card then attacks and destroys Seeker's "Death Hand". • After Yugi saw Joey's win over Weevil, he takes this card out and notes Joey was able to win without this card's assistance. He then notes he will soon be able to return this card back to Joey, but Marik had previously warned him about "The Quiet One," so he wonders where that Rare Hunter is.
  • In episode 74, this card appears in a flashback Yami Yugi has when he notes he must save Joey from Marik.
    • This card also appeared within some of the small clips that were shown going through a black background before we see a montage of Yugi's Battle City Duels.

  • In episode 76, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Joey while the latter was possessed by Marik. Yugi activates "Exchange" in the middle of the duel and shows Joey this card, which did indeed temporarily return him to his normal self. Yugi then summons this card by Tributing "Big Shield Gardna" and "Kuriboh". This card then attacks and destroys Joey's "Alligator's Sword" (whose ATK was 800 due to it being affected by "Spellbinding Circle"). Joey then activates Attrition. "Rocket Warrior" then attack this card. Due to "Rocket Warrior"'s effect, it wasn't destroyed and Joey took no Battle Damage. After damage calculation, the effect of "Rocket Warrior" reduced this card's ATK by 500 until the End Phase. The effect of"Attrition" then reduced this card's ATK by 1500. In the next episode, Joey ends his turn. This card then regains the ATK "Rocket Warrior" took from it. Later, Marik ordered Joey to attack this card with "Panther Warrior", so tha he can win the duel and get what he wants, but Joey orders "Rocket Warrior" to attack "Beta The Magnet Warrior", but Yugi activates "Magical Arm Shield" to redirect the attack to "Panther Warrior". In the following episode, Yugi lost the duel as he did not want to see Joey die. Joey then uses "Meteor of Destruction's" side effect to force this card to attack him directly, resulting in his Life Points dropping to 0 and ending the duel in a Draw.

The second "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" then attacks and destroys "Beta the Magnet Warrior". The third "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" then attacks this card, but Yugi activates Spellbinding Circle to stop the attack and decrease the attacking "Blue-Eyes White Dragon's" ATK by 700. This card then attacks and destroys the weakened "Blue-Eyes White Dragon". In the next episode, Yugi attempts to switch this card into Defense Position, but Kaiba activates "Final Attack Orders" to keep all monsters on the field in Attack Position and force both players into selecting three cards in their Deck to keep while the rest of the cards in their Deck go to the Graveyard. Later "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" attacks this card, but Yugi activates "Magic Formula" to increase the ATK of "Dark Paladin" by 500, however Kaiba activates "Absorb Spell" to switch the target of "Magic Formula" to "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon", increasing its ATK by 500. • In episode 143, this card is shown in two flashbacks Kaiba has. One flashback Kaiba has is when he remembers losing against Yugi at the tower. The other flashback Kaiba has (which is a continuation of the previously-mentioned flashback) is when he remembers Yugi showing him this card and explaining to Kaiba that this card was given to him by a friend and it in turn gave him the power that brought him victory.
    • This card also appeared in two flashbacks Yugi has. The first flashback is when Yugi remembers that he had offered Joey this card back after winning it back from the Rare Hunter, but Joey refuses as he wanted to wait until he can prove that he was worthy of getting it back. "Tyrant Dragon" then attacks this card again due to its effect, but Joey activates "Celebration of Creation" to end Rex's turn. When the Great Leviathan counterattacks, Yami quickly has Timaeus absorb the power of "Big Shield Gardna" to protect everyone from the attack. While this saves the chosen Duelists and the Legendary Knights, it doesn't save the other monsters summoned by the Chosen Duelists.

Dawn of the Duel

Capsule Monsters

  • In episode 7, Joey merged with this monster, which briefly became his armor, but his mind became controlled by a sword's evil curse that was also controlling "Red-Eyes Black Dragon". • In episode 9, Joey sends this monster to battle the Fiendish Five Dragons, but fails to defeat them. In the next episode, Joey has this monster attack the "Five-Headed Dragon" to protect a villager, although "Five-Headed Dragon" knocks this monster to the ground in retaliation.

After Alexander's "Seven-Armed Fiend" this monster attacks, but is blocked by the Arm of Defense. Later, after Joey's "Flame Swordsman" is destroyed by an army of "Skull Knight 2", this card destroys much of the army with "Rapid Fire Flame Strike". In the next episode, this monster attacks Alexander merged with "Reshef the Dark Being", although the attack is deflected by "Reflect Bounder". Afterwards, Joey has this monster attack "Reflect Bounder", allowing Yugi to attack Alexander uninhibited. After Alexander absorbs "Reflect Bounder" to upgrade "Reshef" to its ultimate form, "Red-Eyes" attacks "Reshef", although the damage from the attack is absorbed by its core formed by "Firewing Pegasus" and "Total Defense Shogun". This monster is then attacked by "Reshef's" "Projectile Pummel" attack powered by "Garma Sword".
