• This card appears in the opening "Soul Drive".

• In episode 10, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo. He Special Summons this card from his hand via its effect after he Normal Summoned "Friller Shark". He then overlays this card and "Friller Shark" in order to Xyz Summon "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark". On the last turn of the Duel, Shark detaches this card in order to activate the effect of "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark".

• In episode 11, Shark uses this card during his Tag Duel with Yuma against Scorch and Chills. He Special Summons this card from his hand via its effect as he Normal Summoned "Big Jaws". Shark then overlays this card and "Big Jaws" in order to Xyz Summon "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark".

• In episode 57, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Quattro. He Special Summons this card via its own effect as he Normal Summoned "Tripod Fish". He then overlays this card and "Tripod Fish" in order to Xyz Summon "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark".

• In episode 91, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Rio Kastle. He Special Summons this card via its own effect after he Normal Summons "Big Jaws". He then overlays this card and "Big Jaws" in order to Xyz Summon "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark". This card is sent to the Graveyard at an unspecified point. After "Ice Beast Zerofyne" destroys "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark" in battle, Shark activates "Ghost Salvage" to revive this card, "Big Jaws", and "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark". Shark then activates "Full Armored Xyz" to overlay this card and "Big Jaws" in order to Xyz Summon "Black Ray Lancer". After "Black Ray Lancer" is used for the Xyz Summon of "Shark Caesar", this card is sent to the Graveyard.

• In episode 108, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Abyss while the latter was possessing Rio. He Special Summons this card via its own effect after he Normal Summons "Big Jaws". He then overlays this card and "Big Jaws" in order to Xyz Summon "Black Ray Lancer". This card is sent to the Graveyard after "Black Ray Lancer" is destroyed by the effect of "Gorgonic Guardian".

D Team ZEXAL

• In chapter 4, Shark Special Summons this card from his hand via it's effect as he had Special Summoned "Hammer Shark" from his graveyard via "Monster Reborn". He then uses "Star Changer" to increase it's level by 1. It is then overlaid alongside "Shocktopus" and "Hammer Shark" to Xyz Summon "Number 32: Shark Drake".
