- In episode 102, Yugi Muto faces this monster while he was trying to get through a door puzzle. This monster was guarding the Level 1 door. Yugi then summons "Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress" and uses it to attack and destroy this monster.
- In episode 186, the KC DuelTek 760 uses this card during its Duel against Yami Yugi while the latter was using Rick's Deck. The computer discards this card in order to activate "Cost Down". On the KC DuelTek 760's next Standby Phase, this card returns to the computer's hand due to its effect. Later the computer Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. "Jinzo" then attacks and destroys "Baby Dragon". This card then attacks directly. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
- In episode 188, Solomon Muto uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler while the former was disguised as Apdnarg Otum. When "Goblin Attack Force" attacks "Ancient Giant", Solomon activates "Ordeal of a Traveler" and uses this card for its effect. Joey guesses Spell Card, but Solomon reveals that Joey was wrong, so "Goblin Attack Force" returns to Joey's hand. Later Solomon uses the effect of "Ancient Tome" to swap this card with the top card of his Deck. On Solomon's next turn, he draws this card. He then discards this card in order to keep "Ancient Tome" on the field. This card's effect then activates, returning it to Solomon's hand. Later "Gilford the Lightning" attacks directly, but Solomon activates the effect of "Ordeal of a Traveler" and uses this card for its effect. Joey guesses Monster Card. Solomon then reveals that Joey was right, so the attack continues. This card remained in Solomon's hand until the Duel was over.

- In episode 5, two copies of this card are shown as two of the four face-up cards that Jaden Yuki and his friends were using to tell ghost stories during the "ghost stories" segment at the start of the episode. One copy was drawn by Jaden, so he uses this card to tell his friends a story that would be as scary as something that would be at Level 1. The other copy was on the table along with the other cards that were already used.
- In episode 40, this card is shown as an Egyptian Spirit monster in one of Abidos the Third's Duels against his servants.
- This card appears in the GX Japanese closing song, Borderline Battle.
