When Yugi battles Pegasus for the Duelist Kingdom crown, Pegasus summons the Thousand-Eyes Restrict, a formidable opponent at the time. It would be weakened by Kuriboh and Multiply and destroyed by Magician of Black Chaos, winning the duel for Yugi.

Pegasus is seen dueling Mai in the Waking the Dragons saga briefly with this card, during which it had absorbed Harpie's Pet Dragon. Mai, however, destroyed it with Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation and the Effect damage it dealt to Pegasus caused him to lose the duel.
