- In the anime, this card's effect activates when it destroyed in any way, not only by battle.
- In episode 22, Akiza Izinski used this card in her Ground Duel against Commander Koda. It is summoned on the first turn of the Duel. Next turn, Akiza has this card attack Koda directly. Koda then activates "Crime and Punishment" to destroy this card. This activates this card's effect, allowing Akiza to add "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis" from her Deck to her hand. At the end of the Battle Phase, Koda uses the second effect of "Crime and Punishment" to summon "Agent of Hatred". In the same episode, this card is shown in a flashback when Koda reminds Akiza of what she did with this card three years ago at a Duel Academy.
- In episode 23, this card is shown in a flashback that Akiza has when she remembers how her powers have hurted people and Yusei having a mark similar to hers.
- In episode 24, this card appears in a flashback that Akiza has when she explains to Yusei her backstory on why she detests her mark and why she went to Sayer to help her.
- In episode 40, this card appears in a flashback Akiza has when she remembers meeting Sayer and demonstrating her powers to him.
- In episode 42, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Akiza has when she remembers that her powers(which were detested by many) became more and more intense as the rage within her grew.
- In episode 60, Akiza draws this card during her Ground Duel against Misty Tredwell. Due to the effect of Misty's "Sad Story - Sorrowful Memories", Akiza was forced to shuffle this card back into her Deck.
- Akiza is shown using this card against a Duel Academy student in a flashback during the same Duel.
