- In episode 143, Axel Brodie uses this card during his duel against the Supreme King. He activates the effect of "Tri-Blaze Accelerator" to send this card from his hand to the Graveyard and destroy "Evil HERO Wild Cyclone" as well as inflict 500 damage to the Supreme King. Axel then activates "Fire Recovery" to Special Summon this card from his Graveyard by discarding "Volcanic Blaster". Axel then activates this card's effect to inflict 200 damage to the Supreme King for each Volcanic monster in his Graveyard. Since Axel has two, the Supreme King takes 400 damage. After "Volcanic Doomfire" attacks and destroys "Evil HERO Infernal Sniper", this card attacks directly. Later "Evil HERO Malicious Edge" (whose ATK wa 2900 due to it being equipped with "Vicious Claw") attacks this card, but due to the first effect of "Volcanic Doomfire", the attack is redirected to "Volcanic Doomfire". Damage is calculated, but the Supreme King activates the second effect of "Vicious Claw" to return it to his hand and prevent the destruction of "Malicious Edge". The third effect of "Vicious Claw" then activates, destroying this card and inflicting 600 damage to Axel.
- In episode 169, Trueman uses this card during his Duel against Axel. He sends this card, "Bonfire", and "Volcanic Rat" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard via the effect of "Volcanic Wall". Later Axel activates "Big Volcano" to Special Summon this card and "Volcanic Rat" from Trueman's Graveyard to his side of the field. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
- This card is also shown in a flashback Axel has when he tells Trueman if he is going to impersonate his father, he shouldn't forget the strategy that he taught Axel.
