- In the non-canon duel North American WCQ 2013 Special: Kaiba Vs Pegasus, Pegasus searches for this card with "Wind-Up Factory" with the activation of "Wind-Up Rabbit". On his next turn, he Normal Summons this card and activates its effect to Special Summon "Wind-Up Shark". Activating "Wind-Up Rat's" effect causes "Wind-Up Factory" to retrieve a second "Wind-Up Rat" from the deck. He then uses "Wind-Up Rat" and "Wind-Up Shark" as Xyz Material for "Wind-Up Zenmaines". "Wind-Up Rat" is Detached to prevent "Wind-Up Zenmaines" from being Destroyed by battle against "Luster Dragon 2". The "Wind-Up Rat" left in the hand is later sent to the Graveyard by the effect of "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End".
