- Noah used this card in his duel against Yugi. He summons it via Next World. He then used it to destroy Yugi's Dark Magician. It was then returned to his hand on the End Phase. He later Summoned it a second time by tributing his "Otohime" and a set monster. He then had it attack Yugi's Kuriboh who had been switched to Attack Position due to the effect of "Otohime". This attack would have won the duel for him, but Yugi activated Nutrient Z, giving him 4000 extra Life Points before damage calculation. Yamata Dragon was then returned back to Noah's hand on the End Phase. It was later discarded from Noah's hand due to Yugi's "Card Destruction".
