• In episode 135, Brron, Mad King of Dark World uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. This card then attacks and destroys "Elemental HERO Sparkman". In the next episode, Jaden Normal Summons "Elemental HERO Avian" in Defense Position to avoid activating the effect of "Wicked Canon". Brron then activates "Darkness Half" to target this card, halve this card's ATK and Special Summon two Dark Tokens to Jaden's side of the field. Brron then activates "Dark Tournament" to switch "Avian" to Attack Position and force Jaden's monsters to attack this turn, however no monsters will be destroyed by battle this turn. "Elemental HERO Avian" and the two Dark Tokens then attack this card. This card is not destroyed, but Brron still takes Battle Damage. The effect of "Wicked Canon" then activates three times, allowing Brron to send "Sinister Doctrine - Hatred", "Sinister Doctrine - Anguish", and "Sinister Doctrine - Sadness" from his Deck to the Graveyard. This causes Tyranno Hassleberry, Atticus Rhodes, and Alexis Rhodes to disappear. On Brron's next turn, he switches this card to Defense Position. Later "Elemental HERO Neos" attacks and destroys this card.

• In episode 157, Trueman uses this card during his duel against Jaden. He sends this card and "Familiar Knight" from his hand to the Graveyard in order to activate the effect of "Dark Archetype".

• Despite the card text, Zure's role in the anime is to do basically nothing but oppress the commoners. This may be a deliberate irony to show how badly the Duel Spirit Dimension was corrupted by Yubel.
