"Vengeance Is Mine" is the seventy-second episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on August 20, 2023.
It's time for the Galaxy Cup's much-anticipated finals! The first battle is between Mitsuko and Zuwijo. Mitsuko is burning with rage because Zuwijo has been giving her the cold shoulder. However, she’s having a hard time against Zuwijo's fierce attack. As she tries to counterattack, she draws a card she's never seen before...!

Turn 1: Mitsuko
Mitsuko's hand contains "Secret File 33 - Noble Death of Resentment", "Secret Alteration", "Secret Investigator Mistake" and "Secret Investigator Misfire". Mitsuko draws "Secret Investigation Mobile Thunderbird". Mitsuko Normal Summons "Mistake" (1300/300) and "Misfire" (1300/0). As "Misfire" was Normal Summoned this turn, Mitsuko activates its effect, paying 300 LP to inflict damage to Zuwijo equal to the number of face-up LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monsters on Mitsuko's field x 300. Mitsuko pays 300 LP (Mitsuko: 4000 → 3700 LP; Zuwijo: 4000 → 3400 LP). As "Mistake" was Normal Summoned or Special Summoned during this Main Phase, Mitsuko activates its effect to excavate the top three cards of her Deck, then she can add an excavated Level 3 or higher Reptile Type monster to her hand, then place the remaining cards on the top of the Deck in any order. Mitsuko excavates "Misfire", "Elite Secret Investigator Mystery" and "Mistake", then adds "Mystery" to her hand, then places "Misfire" and "Mistake" on the top of the Deck. Mitsuko Tributes "Mistake" and "Misfire" to Tribute Summon "Mystery" (2300/1000). Mitsuko activates the Equip Spell Card "Secret Investigation Mobile Thunderbird", equipping it to a face-up LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monster on her field to increase its ATK by 300 and allow it to attack directly. Mitsuko equips "Secret Investigation Mobile Thunderbird" to "Mystery" ("Mystery": 2300/1000 → 2600/1000). Turn 2: Zuwijo
Zuwijo's hand contains "Void Wall", "Voidvelgr Velites", "Meteorlarva" and "Voidvelgr Kataphraktos". Zuwijo draws "Voidarve Heavenstar". Zuwijo Normal Summons "Kataphraktos" (1000/1000), "Meteorlarva" (600/0) and "Velites" (100/1000). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Meteorlarva" to send cards equal to the number of face-up Galaxy Type monsters on his field from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. Zuwijo sends "Tractor Wave", "Voidvelgr Pale Rider" and "Voidvelgr Peltast" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. As "Kataphraktos" was Normal Summoned this turn and Zuwijo has a face-up DARK Attribute monster other than it on his field, he activates its effect to send the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard, then if he sent a monster to the Graveyard this way, he can add a Level 8 Galaxy Type monster from his Graveyard to his hand. Zuwijo sends "Voidvelgr Transi" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then adds "Transi" from his Graveayrd to his hand. Zuwijo Tributes "Meteorlarva" and "Kataphraktos" to Tribute Summon "Heavenstar" (2400/1600). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Velites", sending it from his field to the Graveyard to send the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard, then he can add DARK Attribute Galaxy Type Normal Monsters from his Graveyard to his hand up to the total number of face-up Level 7 or higher monsters on the field. Zuwijo sends "Velites" from his field to the Graveyard and sends "Dark Hole" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, then adds "Pale Rider" and "Peltast" from his Graveyard to his hand. Zuwijo activates the effect of "Heavenstar", sending a non-FIRE Attribute monster from his hand to the Graveyard to shuffle a Spell Card from his Graveyard into the Deck, then he can draw a card. Zuwijo sends "Peltast" from his hand to the Graveyard and shuffles "Dark Hole" from his Graveyard into the Deck, then draws "Fusion". Zuwijo Normal Summons "Pale Rider" (1600/0). Zuwijo activates the Spell Card "Fusion" to Fusion Summon by sending face-up monsters from his field to the Graveyard as material. Zuwijo sends "Pale Rider" and "Heavenstar" from his field to the Graveyard and Fusion Summons "Voidarvelgr Pandora" (3000/2000) in Attack Position. Zuwijo activates the effect of "Pandora", sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 1000 until the end of this turn, then he can make a face-up monster on either field become any Attribute until the end of Mitsuko's next turn, then if he does he can add a "Tractor Wave" from his Graveyard to his hand. Zuwijo sends "Transi" from his hand to the Graveyard ("Pandora": 3000/2000 → 4000/2000), then makes "Mystery" become DARK Attribute ("Mystery": LIGHT Attribute → DARK Attribute), then adds "Tractor Wave" from his Graveyard to his hand. Zuwijo Sets "Void Wall" and "Tractor Wave" in his Spell & Trap Zones. "Pandora" attacks and destroys "Mystery" (Mitsuko: 3700 → 2300 LP). As Zuwijo ends his turn, the ATK of "Pandora" returns to normal ("Pandora": 4000/2000 → 3000/2000).
Turn 3: Mitsuko
Mitsuko draws "Secret Investigator Miscast", two copies of "Secret Investigator Mislead", "Misfire" and "Mystery". Mitsuko Normal Summons "Miscast" (300/300). As Mitsuko has no other monsters on her field, she activates the effect of "Miscast", paying 300 LP to send the top three cards of her Deck to the Graveyard, then if she sent a LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monster(s) to the Graveyard this way, she adds a LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monster from her Graveyard to her hand. Mitsuko pays 300 LP (Mitsuko: 2300 → 2000 LP) and sends "Mislead", "Secret Investigator Mistral" and "Miscast" from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard, then adds "Mystery" from her Graveyard to her hand. Mitsuko activates the effect of "Mistral", shuffling three LIGHT Attribute Reptile Type monsters from her Graveyard into the Deck and sending it from her field to the Graveyard to return a face-up Level 3 or lower monster from Zuwijo's field to the owner's hand, then inflict 300 damage to him, then she can decrease the ATK and DEF of all face-up monsters on Zuwijo's field by 300 until the end of this turn. Mitsuko shuffles three unknown monsters from her Graveyard into the Deck, sends "Mistral" from her field to the Graveyard and returns "Samsara" from Zuwijo's field to her hand (Zuwijo: 2800 → 2500 LP; "Pandora": 3000/2000 → 2700/1700). Mitsuko Normal Summons "Samsara" (0/0). Mitsuko activates the effect of "Samsara", shuffling a Reptile Type monster from her Graveyard into the Deck to change the battle position of a face-up Level 7 or higher monster on Zuwijo's field, but she can only attack with Reptile Type monsters this turn. Mitsuko shuffles "Miscast" from her Graveyard into the Deck and changes "Pandora" to Defense Position. Mitsuko activates "Fusion". Mitsuko sends "Samsara" and "Mystery" from her field to the Graveyard and Fusion Summons "Secret Chief Investigator Misfortune" (3000/2300) in Attack Position. Mitsuko activates the effect of "Misfortune", shuffling three Reptile Type monsters from her Graveyard into the Deck to prevent a monster on Zuwijo's field from being destroyed by battle this turn, but this turn it can declare three attacks on monsters and inflict piercing battle damage. Mitsuko shuffles "Mystery", "Samsara" and "Mistral" from her Graveyard into the Deck and chooses "Pandora". "Misfortune" attacks "Pandora". As Mitsuko's monster declared an attack targeting Zuwijo's face-up Defense Position Galaxy Type monster, Zuwijo activates his face-down Trap Card "Void Wall" to increase the DEF of all face-up Defense Position Galaxy Type monsters on his field by the number of Defense Position monsters on his field x 500 until the end of this turn ("Pandora": 2700/1700 → 2700/2200). The attack continues (Zuwijo: 2500 → 1700 LP). "Misfortune" attacks "Pandora" twice (Zuwijo: 1700 → 900 → 100 LP). As Mitsuko ends her turn, the ATK and DEF of "Pandora" return to normal ("Pandora": 2700/2200 → 3000/2000).
Turn 4: Zuwijo
Zuwijo draws "Voidvelgr Hecatoncheir", "Voidvelgr Requiem", "Voidvelgr Chrysaor", "Voidvelgr Elysium" and "Voidvelgr Elpis". Zuwijo changes "Pandora" to Attack Position. Zuwijo activates the effect of "Pandora". Zuwijo sends "Hecatoncheir" from his hand to the Graveyard ("Pandora": 3000/2000 → 4000/2000), then makes "Misfortune" become DARK Attribute ("Misfortune": LIGHT Attribute → DARK Attribute), then adds "Tractor Wave" from his Graveyard to his hand. Zuwijo activates the Equip Spell Card "Voidvelgr Elpis", equipping it to a face-up Galaxy Type monster on his field to prevent Mitsuko from activating Trap Cards when it declares an attack, and if Mitsuko has a face-up monster on her field with the same Attribute as that monster, it gains 1000 ATK. Zuwijo equips "Elpis" to "Pandora" ("Pandora": 4000/2000 → 5000/2000). "Pandora" attacks and destroys "Misfortune" (Mitsuko: 1700 → 0 LP).

Errors
- When Mitsuko draws on her second turn, the first two cards in her hand are "Secret Investigator Miscast" and "Secret Investigator Mislead" instead of "Secret Investigator Misfire" and "Secret Investigator Mistake" (which were placed on the top of her Deck with the effect of another copy of the latter).
- When Mitsuko declares her Normal Summon of "Miscast" on her second turn, she picks the far-right card in her hand, which is "Elite Secret Investigator Mystery", instead of the far-left.
