Card Rulings:Ambulanceroid
OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Ambulanceroid" is a Trigger Effect.[1]
- This card's effect does not target.[1]
- This card's effect cannot be activated during the Damage Step.[1]
- If you add 2 copies of "Submarineroid" from your Graveyard to your hand with the effect of "Salvage", the effect of "Ambulanceroid" can be activated. In that case, both copies of "Submarineroid" that were added to the hand simultaneously are Special Summoned. (You cannot choose to Special Summon only 1 of the added monsters.)[2]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[4] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - You can Special Summon “Dark Jeroid” with “Ambulanceroid’s” effect because it has “roid” in its card name.
- If you add 2 "roid" monsters to your hand with "Expressroid's" effect while you control "Ambulanceroid", you can activate its effect to Special Summon both "roid" monsters.[3]
