OCG Rulings

• The effect of "Malefic World" starts a Chain Link. (It does not target. Only the controller of "Malefic World" can activate its effect.)

• When the effect resolves, reveal 3 "Malefic" cards from your Deck and your opponent picks 1 of them at random. (You do not reveal the card that is added to your hand.)

• Adding 1 card to your hand and shuffling the rest back into your Deck are considered to happen at the same time.

• When resolving the effect of "Malefic World", if "Malefic World" was destroyed by a "Mystical Space Typhoon" etc. activated in Chain, the effect of "Malefic World" is not applied and you cannot perform your normal draw.

• Q: Can you activate the effect of "Malefic World" if you have 2 or less "Malefic" cards in your Deck?
  Also, if you have 2 or less "Malefic" cards in your Deck because of an effect activated in Chain to the activation of "Malefic World", how do you resolve its effect?

A: You cannot activate the effect of "Malefic World" if you have 2 or less "Malefic" cards in your Deck.
Also, when resolving the effect of "Malefic World", if you have 2 or less "Malefic" cards in your Deck, you do not choose any card from your Deck. Even in that case, you cannot perform your normal draw.
